The uk had had a vocal minority against eec/eu membership since the seventies. There was virtually little prospect of the uk leaving the eu prior to 2016Well in 2013 when the referendum was announced a majority of polls had a Leave winning - so perhaps you were a tad naive?

Scotland voted to stay in the UK knowing full well that the UK might leave the EU. The uk had had a vocal minority against eec/eu membership since the seventies. There was virtually little prospect of the uk leaving the eu prior to 2016
The majority of polls , and the clear consensus was behind the uk remaining. There was no way as vinny puerily tries to suggest scotland knew leave would win , or somehow that brexit was a foregone conclusion.
I listened to your tory party branch manager , ruthie davidson many times on the subject , and her and her whole party ( the scots branch) indeed the whole scottish political establishment were and are pro remain.
The fact is pacifico scotland voted for both unions , cant have both , and now has to choose.

The Metropolitan Police says it will not now investigate an allegation of sexual assault, reported to be against a Labour frontbench MP, "at the victim's request".
Tortoise first reported that a female Labour MP claimed she had been sexually assaulted by a male shadow minister.
The BBC has been told she reported the incident to the Met Police and the Labour whips.
Labour said the whips had urged her to make a formal complaint to the party.
However, Tortoise reported that she "felt his popularity within the party would stand against her".
In response to the report, the Metropolitan Police told the BBC they received a report in March that a woman was sexually assaulted by a man in London in July 2021.
The incident is alleged to have happened after a summer party in London.
The force said: "At the victim's request, the incident will not now be investigated at this time."
It added that enquiries were at an "assessment stage" and a formal investigation had not been launched.
The Met has not identified either MP.
Labour told the BBC they had not been contacted by the Met, nor received a formal complaint.
A party spokesman said: "We take any allegations of this sort very seriously and would always encourage individuals to go to the parliamentary process, the Labour Party process or the police.
"In terms of the Labour Party process, it is a thorough, robust and independent process that individuals can have confidence in."
Oh dear.

Raking back over the coals and reinventing history doesnt change the fact scotland is , and remains an extremely pro european country as it has been for the last thousand years.

I dont know what there is to disagree over. In 2013, when the Referendum commitment was made, there were 37 polls on EU membership - Remain won 11 and Leave won the other 26.. So please do not accuse me of reinventing history - perhaps you just forgot? Opinion polling for the United Kingdom European Union membership referendum

i mean we can all pick out an arbitrary starting point to cherry pick a number of polls to back up our points? The fact remains it looked highly unlikely that the uk was going to leave the EU prior to 2016.
Boris Johnson ‘thought Brexit would lose, but wanted to be romantic, patriotic hero’, says David Cameron
Ex-PM says Johnson sent him a text saying 'Brexit will be crushed like a toad under the harrow'
Here we are again re raking over the coals of brexit because brexiters want to reinvent somethng else to suit thier warped failing ideological gamble.
You were told brexit would damage the uk economy., It has.
You were told brexit would wreak havoc with devolution and northern ireland in particlaur . It has.
You wouldnt listen , self harmed , and now cant live with the consequences,so are now re writing history.
Funny how tory brexiters one minute tell me they dont trust or beleieve opinion polls when it shows how the uk has brexit regret amongst much else...
As of April 2023, 53 percent of people in Great Britain thought that it was wrong to leave the European Union, compared with 33 percent who thought it was the right decision.
......and now we are being told that us sweaties knew all along england was going to leave the EU to justify taking scotland out. inventing fantasy stories isnt going to save your union pacifico. Or cherry picking which polls you want to use and believe and which you dont.....

LGBT debate, and rape are two different debates. Not really, the fact that some of these rapists are using the loopholes of pretending to be transgender in order to make it easier for them to select their victims, the law needs to tighten up these loopholes, because a man puts a dress on a pair of high heels doesn't make him a woman. So none LGBT rapists don't scheme their way into raping? Being LGBT does not make one a rapist, being a rapist does not make one LGBT.

For a Transgendered person to be considered for a womens prison, they would not simply be a "cock in a frock", a man in a dress, they would have to have been under medical attention and supervision, and the authorities would have to seek medical / psychological guidance. The entire point of self-ID, as legislated by the bill in scotland and as the term suggests, (and of course supported by the labour party) is that nobody else gets a say in the matter. If a transgender prisoner or anyone else SAYS they’re a woman, they ARE one, and disputing that is – under the Hate Crime Bill forced into law – a criminal offence.Any bill that does not allow for false claims is a nonsense bill, I suspect you have been reading the Mud Slinger gazette AGAIN.
