Starmer and honesty - never the twain shall meet?... More lies! Starmer never said he had scrapped the commitment to abolish tuition fees, he said words to the effect of 'the economy would need to be taken into account". That is the only suggestion I have heard Starmer say.

It can only have been a lie if he does not do what he says he will do knowing full well he was not going to do it when he said it.
