Telegraph claims Starmer is willing to give EU nationals the vote in elections in order to consolidate Labour in future government, as well as rig a future EU referendum. He's also trying to do a Sturgeon and give 16 & 17 years olds the vote because he knows that data says that the young and naïve vote Labour. Many faces Starmer has form when it comes to lying and the snake cannot be trusted. "Many faces Starmer" ? More mud slinging ^^^ that is so common amongst right-wingers, they obviously do it because they find derogation comes so much easier than debate. Probably helped by reading right-wing so called newspapers like the Telegraph. The Telegraph allegation appears without proof suggesting it is just more mud slinging, a problem that appears to be in the DNA of limited thinking right-wingers. |

Deception! nothing new there, take Farage for instance  Deceivers exist in all walks of life, and on many forums like this one. Being LGBT doesn't make people rapists, one either is or is not a rapist. Presumably all actions in a rape case will be taken into account. Your broad brush approach seems to infer these LGBT rapists are all over the place, but that does not appear to be the case. It gives rapists the opportunity to declare themselves as of the opposite sex, that is what is happening. How many cases are you talking about? The bottom line is that LGBT WILL NOT GO AWAY, it is part of the human condition, so it needs to be recognised and dealt with. All criminals need to be dealt with regardless of their sexual orientation. |

I can name a lot of older people that are not 'sensible' enough to use a sunbed unsupervised, so that does not work.
You make the mistake of lumping all young people under one banner but by your own statement it can be inferred that nobody should vote. 'Some older people commit crime therefore all older people are criminals', this is a typical right-wing trope. Its the politicians that are doing that - the Law treating all kids the same and believing they are not sensible enough was introduced by the Labour Party. The whole country thought 16 year olds were not 'sensible' enough but times have changed, 16,17 year olds are a lot more 'savvy' than they used to be. Were the Tories advocating giving teens the vote then, since you mention Labour? |

It is immigrants who live 'permanently' in the UK that will get the vote, again these people pay taxes and should have a say in how the country is run. They should be citizens instead of permanent residents. |

A 'man' rapes or sexually assaults a woman/women/children, they get caught and then declare themselves transgender, and demand they go to a female prison?
'Isla Bryson' who raped two women as a 'man' was exposed for what he was a 'chancer', by his ex-'wife', who said he was absolutely not transgender, and it was all a big con so he wouldn't be sent to a mans prison, but every single woman in that prison at risk, because he still would have a PENIS, to carry out his assaults.
Thank goodness you don't reside on any part of the judicial service that makes decisions in these cases, because you would be as bigger danger to women as Isla Bryson.

But Scotland voted in 2014 - hot on the heels of a year when a majority of polls were suggesting we would leave. So your idea that Scotland voted to remain in the UK on the basis that there was no chance of the UK leaving the EU was incredibly naive. The scottish independence vote was september 2014. From April /May 2014 if you look at the below graph , remain went into the lead , and not only stayed there , but the remain lead grew until the actual brexit referendum itself. Even though througout most of 2014 and the scot indy ref the polls were showing a remain vote for the EU , i agree , many scots were incredibly naive. Everything they told us would happen if we voted to end this awfull union has happened because we voted to stay.

Scots need to “drive forward now” with a fresh independence bid after voters were “conned” into staying in the UK in 2014, Alex Salmond will claim.
