Or perhaps in person in London? Not me I’m afraid Elizabeth the second was the last of any worth,Charlie and his ugly sister queen should retire and let someone younger have a go. Its only plus is do we want a president? Will we be watching the coronation? Dunno, probably not. From what I've heard it's going to be a bit of a woke fest. I'm not looking forward to King Charles, and he will never enjoy the national or international respect his mother the Queen did. Gercha, when the bands are playing you'll be marching up and down with a 50-odd year old toy rifle on the shoulder.

' Gercha' LOL, I concede I do enjoy watching the Household Division on parade, particularly the guards. As is usually the case on these occasions they spend most of their time standing still waiting, wiggling their toes in their boots in an effort to keep the blood supply flowing. I did watch some of it, but not all. Some of the guests at Westminster Abbey had been there since 07.30, which means they were there for about five hours. OK they had chairs to sit on but I bet they were glad to be on the move when it was finished.

A couple of things I noticed when watching proceedings yesterday were bearing & turnout, and as ever we showed the world that British troops are the smartest in the world. I also noticed some foreign troops, not sure where they were from, some commonwealth country I would have thought. They were in white uniforms bit like our number 6 dress (Which would never be worn in the UK) anyhoo, not to put to fine a point on it, they were turned out like bags of shit. The uniforms clearly didn't fit. The tunics were a couple of sizes too big for most of them. It made me wonder whether their government were aware of the occasion.
Also, I saw a line of Metropolitan Police officers lining the route along the Mall, all stood there for the world to see. One of them was a WPC, she looked about 5 foot tall, and probably 15 or 16 stones. She wore one of those tactical vests (Like a waistcoat) over a white shirt. Between the bottom of her vest and top of her trousers was a two or three inch gap, highlighted by her white shit, and a huge roll of flab that was squeezing out. She looked ready to burst. I was embarrassed for her and her colleauges ans she should be embarrassed being that fat. There is no way anyone that size should be on front line duty. I suspect simply standing still she was sweating just holding up her own bodyweight.

I tuned in for the flypast and was very miffed to see most of it cancelled for Elf 'n' Safety reasons.
PS I've just been reading a review of the RAF Review celebrating the Queen's Coronation in 1953. As well as a 600-aircraft flypast there was a 300-aircraft static display at RAF Odiham. Some American types (Sabres, Washingtons and Neptunes) but the fleet was overwhelmingly British designed and made.
Those were the days eh.

It's one reason the British establishment disgusts me. War and death is nothing to celebrate with. I'm still miffed by our lying prime minister being the second highest funder to kill Russians. It's a case of not in my name. It's worse than having a paedophile at the head of the church.

Can't go risking our remaining airworthy Lancaster. There are only 2 still flying anywhere in the world.

So you'll be equally disgusted with China's current military build-up (military budget almost double of 10 years ago) and sabre-rattling over Taiwan then.

Keep an eye out for the RAF.. Dreadful spelling. What's the betting it was written by a Royal Engineer? Should really stick to digging latrines. Ref your PM Monte, yes I did miss it. However, I'm pleased to say I didn't miss much.
