i would agree vincent. If they have done wrong , then they deserve punishment. For what sturgeon allegedly attempted to do to alec salmond , shes deserves severe punishment for that alone. Still i expect sturgeon takes your focus off the mess in england at the minute. Any news on the return of the empire?
Nah - everyone is too busy laughing at Scotland to get any actual work done.. Im flattered pacifico you take so much time and interest in scotland to laugh at us when things go wrong. As ever , the englishman raises his eyes in anticipation of what the scot does.

Yes that is certainly correct - we live in anticipation of what you lot are going to fuck up next. Is it true that you are getting the MOD in to run your Ferries?

To be honest Tommy, there is not a lot else going on
So for the period 5 April 2023 - 20 April 2023 with the changes being on the figures for period 29 March 2023 - 7 April 2023.....
Labour 44.5% -0.3%
Conservatives 28.2 +0.3%
Lib Dems 9.9% +0.3%
Reform 5.8% -0.1%
Green 5.0% +0.1%
SNP 3.3% -0.3%
As can be seen, despite all the huffing and puffing on this and most every other media outlet in the UK, there has been nigh on sod all change in the voting intentions of the UK electorate in the last month, except in Scotland. Working on the not unreasonable assumption that most SNP voters are in Scotland, I reckon that three weeks ago the SNP vote was 44% and has now fallen to 40%, which prompts the question, what is Alba doing to round up the strays?

To joke about ferries after the state the british army is in , with the ajax tank scandal , the disaster of the aircraft carrier that had no planes and is constantly breaking down , not to mention the tory corruption of recent years is laughable.
Whats happeneing with the raab bullying story pacifico?

No sure what your point is borkie?
I said above , despite humza useless and the current disaster of the snp administration , due to sturgeons legacy of betrayal , the snp are stil in pole position in scottish politics. Keir sarwar has labour in second taking votes off scottish tories.
It was only in 2015 remember when the labour party had held a decades long monopoly on scottish seats for westmisnter in their north bwitish fiefdom , and today despite the disaster of the snp , they still lurk in second place...
Scottish voting intentions for next UK general election:
SNP 37% (-2) Labour 28% (-1) Conservatives 17% (+1) Liberal Democrats 8% (+2) Greens 5% (-1) Reform UK 2% (-1)
Seats projection (current boundaries, with changes from 2019 election): SNP 34 (-14), Labour 14 (+13), Conservatives 6 (-), Liberal Democrats 5 (+1)
same wae the latest poll on the scottish parliament voting intentions....
Seats projection (with changes from 2021 election): SNP 51 (-13), Labour 33 (+11), Conservatives 23 (-8), Greens 12 (+4), Liberal Democrats 10 (+6)
Nice enough guy wee keir sarwar and his boss in london , but they do seem to constantly fluff open goals.

No it shows the disaster of devolution. Trying to run a country with both hands tied behind your backs , and the majority of levers of power and of course the economy controlled from someone elses country is the reason we need independence.
In a normal independent country , we could easily vote out the clowns that are currently in charge of the snp , and vote in anther party with scotlands interests at hand. Im normally open to the highest bidder as a voter in that scenario.
With devolution under the disaster that is the london controlled yookay , we have the narrow choice of brit parties who have londons , not scotlands interests at hand , or indy parties , most of whom are struggling to get established with a pro british media attacking them every day.
We will get there though , depsite sturgeons betrayal , just as the irish and countless other countires did despite london throwin everything at them.

HMS Prince of Fails: Ministers reveal problem-plagued £3.2 billion Royal Navy aircraft carrier will spend a YEAR in port as it undergoes £25million repairs after breaking down last summer
Another 25 million in repairs on top of the 3.2 billion ? Christ add that to the ajax tank debacle , the hs2 debacle , you people are literally throwing scottish taxpayers hard earned cash down the drain.

Just pause for one second, let your mind dwell on a scenario in which YES won 55% and NO won 45%, and then think what sort on position your country would be in after eight years of Sturgeon rule.
With the limited powers available under devolution Sturgeon managed to wreck the NHS, education, transportation, introduced the most perverted and creepy children's sex laws and failed to fix the pot holes. This is not to mention the widespread theft of public money by SNP officials, the tip of which is now only coming to light.
You fools have destroyed your own country, predictably blamed the English and have voted in gangsters that makes Idi Amin look like Mother Teresa, it would be in the interests of the United Kingdom for Scotland to be expelled immediately.

Eh?
im guessing its a bit early for you this morning om. Salmond would have stayed in charge. He resigned and let sturgeon in beacuse he lost the referendum remember? If you cant get the basic facts right , why should we even entertain your zany crystal ball predictions of english spite wishing harm on scotland because we dared vote indy?
despite those limited devolved powers , many of those institutions are dong better than in your country. I see english universities and further education is now among the most complained about in the entire world........high charges for poor service.
Thats before we even mention the financial disaster of the current tory government and its pissing up the wall of billions of taxpayers money.
Hope so om. Or perhaps the 60 % of the british landmass that is the celtic countires could expell your wee country instead?

Well yes Tommy, but you are using one poll. My figures are for the last ten, which helps even out any irregularities.
As far as I can see, the SNP have elected a younger version of Jeremy Corbyn as leader. Humza Yousaf is dedicated to independence, socialism and pissing off the small business element in the party. Like most lefties, he has an unspoken love for heroic failure.
So one way and another, the SNP look to be well fucked for some years to come

Eh? - we are talking about running a couple of Ferries, it's not exactly FedEx or UPS. You know exactly where the boats are going to be tomorrow, and the day after, and the day after. If you cannot organise something as simple as a ferry service then giving you more power is only going to increase the damage exponentially.

so you are using the last ten uk wide polls , and the snp are on a healthy 3.3 % , losing a mere 0.3 % despite all the shit that has been thrown at them and the sturgeon murrel debacle?
Good stuff borkie. Cant argue with any of that. Not sure though borkie with the snp on healthy 3.3 % for a uk wide number of polls the great labour aprty brit nat comeback in scotland is coming from , but there you go .
Holyrood pro-indy majority despite drop in SNP support, says new poll
according to the latest polls , independence support is holding frim , and labour are still struggling to match their falling support from 2014.
I tell you borkie , the trouble with conservatism is it stuck in a starry eyed past and cant get to grips with the present.
