EUSSR fingerprint checks to make Dover queues 'seven times longer' in May Story by Millie Cooke - Political Reporter • 5h ago Travellers are facing queues up to seven times longer in Dover this summer, as a new fingerprint check system is set to be introduced in May. The new measure, known as the Entry Exit System (EES), will take photos and fingerprints of people from third countries crossing the border entering and exiting the EUSSR.
The UK requested to be included in the new system - due to come into force in May 2023 - as part of the Brexit deal after contributing to its development while a member of the EUSSR.
The move means non-European citizens, including Britons, will have to get their fingerprints and a facial biometric analysed every time they enter and leave the bloc.
European Commission's department for Migration and Home Affairs said: "EES will replace the current system of manual stamping of passports, which is time-consuming, does not provide reliable data on border crossings and does not allow a systematic detection of overstayers."

But the UK signed up for a hard European Union border to be installed with our nearest continental neighbour – like the borders the EU has with Russia and Turkey.
Every UK passport holder – and these make up two-thirds of Dover’s tourist traffic – must now have their passport examined and stamped.'

But if people choose to holiday in this country rather than face queues at Dover then as far as I'm concerned that's good, no great news. |

It's all a big plot by Napoleon to make us think it's Brexit, how the fuck can migrants be leaving France with no checks, no queues, no passport control, jump in dinghy's and cross the channel with great ease.
The people traffickers are more organized and competent than the French border control FFS.
The BIG queues are all thanks to dirty guts Macron who is seething, bitter and twisted about Brexit, and will punish us as much as he can, starting with UK tourism, some people just can't see through him.
