So you think the promised trade deals with the States etc are just waiting on getting the EU legislation sorted. I have to admire your ability to hang onto the illusions. you must be very naive if you think we can just kiss goodbye to the EU nice knowing you, and that's that.
As Red quite rightly pointed out we have over near 50 years of legality to sift through , it will be at least 10 years before we start to feel the real benefits of Brexit.
In the mean time the remoaners can use it for every excuse for failure in the hopes we'll have another referendum and rejoin the cesspit.
There must have been an awful lot of leavers who were naïve back in 2016. In using the term "remoaners" you are once again exposing your need to insult people.

I remember leave voters being accused by remainers as 'racists' 'thick' 'uneducated', they were to stupid to know what they were voting for, the only insults flying around were from the remoaners...
Tusk warns of 'special place in hell' for those who backed Brexit without a plan

Leave voters (same of) being accused by some remainers as 'racists' 'thick' 'uneducated', so you decide to join in with their childishness. Your choice. Tusk's opinion may yet be proven right , only time will tell.

As you know, over 50% of the electorate who bothered to vote in the 2016 referendum voted to leave. Within two hours of the hardline remain campaigner Dimbleby staring through a mouth full of sucked lemons that the results were in and Britain was leaving the EU (broadcast at two minutes past six the day after the polls closed) David Lammy chose to speak for the Labour Party on live TV and stated that in fact the referendum was merely advisory, had no legal standing and could be ignored. Cameron had five minutes earlier made his declaration that amounted to ‘fuck this, i’m off’ washing his hands of the commitment he made and confirmed not ten hours earlier that he would be in Brussels tge very next day delivering our decision in person. So you’ll understand why i consider your words utter bollox. John of Gwent. In my opinion you should be driven in an official limousine, to Buck house, and knighted. After what i KNOW charlie was told i said about him, if you think i’m letting him anywhere near me with a fucking sword…..

Wow any sane normal person would condemn such a wicked statement.

The EU is not a dictatorship. The public in EU countries are not given the opportunity to vote for its policies, or against. What would you call the situation of being unable to choose the policies you're governed by? what is perhaps more to the point is that the man or woman who the majority of your constituency vote to send to Westminster to govern or loyally oppose government has, as of right, the ability to stand up and say ‘i’ve had this idea, we should pass a law saying x, y and z’ and while it is true that such bills often have about as much chance of becoming law as i have of winning the lottery, nevertheless your elected member has that right and that authority. When i went to the European Parliament shortly after it changed to PR to elect MEP’s i was shown round by one of Plaid’s cottage burners. It goes some way to showing how well i’d fit in as an MEP that i had them believing i’d welcome an opportunity to start learning welsh again … but the point i came here to make is that having spoken with an elected MEP who was an EU ENTHUSIAST who saw in the institution we were standing in a way to legislate to preserve their culture (theirs mind, not their constituents) they were unable to explain how they as MEPs could personally INITIATE legislation in the way my former MP could. I left the place quite convinced all an MEP could do is rubber stamp, or vote down, legislation brought to the floor by 27 people none of whom were actually voted for.

If we are all going to hell, well guess who will there first? So I guess we can say welcome to hell together.

Well nobody can test said theory until after we have all drawn our last breath so I guess we will wait and see who is going to hell and who isn't.

We are free to do all those things - that the present government chooses not to do those things is a decision for them that will be judged by the people at the next election. At least now, for the first time in 4 decades, the people get a choice. You are only free to do trade deals if the other side want to as well. I'm free to receive a free Rolls Royce assuming Rolls Royce what to give me one. What a bizarre statement - how is any of that different from when we were in the EU?

Most people (59%) think Brexit has made Britain worse off
Most people (55%) think that Brexit was a mistake
On General Voting Intention, Labour has a lead of 26% over the Conservatives (21 March)
This lead could grow to 28% if Labour said Brexit was a mistake
It seems that if Mr Starmer did in fact declare that Brexit was a mistake, he would still win a handsome majority at the next general election, and he would recapture all the Red Wall seats, and so I suppose he has nothing to lose.
But even I as a pro-European who voted REMAIN, has to accept that in reality it was democracy which brought us out of the EU, though it has to be said ... based on lots of lies and false information. But never the less, you cannot renege on the result of a referendum, and I am certain that the Labour leader wont do that.
Could there be a debate on our future relationship with the EU ? ... Yes, why not
Could there be a future referendum on becoming a part of the European Economic Area ... Yes, anything is possible.
Would Keir Starmer take the UK back into the EU without putting it to a vote ? ... Absolutely NOT

Should Labour say Brexit a Mistake? No or not yet While there's no evidence Brexit is a net success and considerable evidence of issues, there's no wide convincing proof it's a net bad outcome for the UK and it's a toxic topic that would give them no electoral advantage. Best to get elected first and then have some sort of objective review to determine their policy for the ~2028 (or maybe ~ 2033) General Election.

The EUSSR wont be here then..They are drowning in their own self inflicted cesspool. Frigging good riddance.

This mythical EUSSR of yours isn't around now. But the EU will very much still be around in 2033. Might have changed a bit, might even be larger. It has issues but nothing fatal
