Sue Gray accused of holding secret talks to join Labour while she was advising government on Partygate at the same time sparking calls for inquiry from Tory MPs Ms Gray was approached by Labour in November last year, it was claimed.
Sue Gray was advising the Government on the Partygate inquiry into Boris Johnson while holding secret talks about joining Labour, it was claimed last night.
In an extraordinary development, it emerged Ms Gray was approached by Labour in November last year, at least three months before her controversial appointment as Sir Keir Starmer's chief of staff became public.
Whitehall sources told the Daily Mail the timeline means she was still advising the Government on the contentious inquiry into Mr Johnson's conduct while secretly talking about moving to Labour HQ.

She has done massive damage to the Civil Service's reputation for impartiality - can any Minister really trust the advice they are given by their staff now?.
Perhaps time to remove the Civil Servents and go the American route with departmental staff brought in from outside to implement government policy.

Oh dear more crap from the Mail.
They make no reference to the fact that her investigation was complete which is shown by the fact that she was advising on what she had already completed.

There appears to be nothing more than insinuations and claims, which would be so typical of and expected from right-wing nasties. Insinuation is one of the trade marks of the nasties.
Let's see some actual evidence with times, dates, quotes and names, of the claims of her so called wrongdoings, then there might be some need for people to be concerned. Otherwise its just Maily right-wing garbage. Sadly even if there is nothing to it some of the mud thrown will stick, and that would be the sickness of the Righties and the stupidity of the easily led.

Hmm, so now you are the judge and the jury all in one. Thank goodness you have no power or authority in running either the country or the judiciary.

Until he progresses from Prince Pacifico to King Pacifico; meanwhile you will still be see2, an inconsequential.

It matters not. The whole episode still casts massive doubt on her alleged impartiality.

The old hag should be facing a disciplinary inquiry.

Her report was completed in May 2022. What's your point caller? She was in cahoots with the Labour leader at the time, it was supposed to be a 'impartial' inquiry, how could it possibly be impartial when she's colluding with the accuser.

It wasn't at the same time though, was it? So are you trying to tell us they only struck up this friendship 'after' the inquiry? LOL
come on andrew we know you're not the sharpest tool in the box, but it's not hard to work it out.
