The farce of the rigged election is now becoming an embarrassment, to think that this is part of the United Kingdom is most disturbing. Ricky should step in and shut down this Micky Mouse administration.

Whatever the disgracefull behaviour of nicola sturgeons husband murrel , and some of the snp hierarchy , it doesnt warrant throwing the babby out with the bath water when barely 8 % of scots support shutting down the scottish parliament.
As ever om , when deocmracy doesnt go your way , you british start talking about anti democratic solutions.

I shall watch democracy in action with the SNP election of the new leader with keen interest. It is amazing that two of the the three candidates have expressed concerns over the honesty of the process, the fact that figures are not being declared indicates that those conducting the election may be trying to conceal something, it is alleged that some people have concerns that those who have left the SNP and former members who have passed away may be included in the count, thus ensuring that the "continuity candidate" wins the prize.
Democracy is going my way actually, we are out of the EU, have a Tory Government and the Union is rock solid, nothing wrong with democracy, you might like to try it in Scotland with your dodgy SNP election.

There is no doubt the farce of sturgeons husband continuing as CEO of the snp , and the disgrace of the unfolding events as he trys and shoos in yousaf to keep the skeletons in the cupboards is damaging to both the snp and our country.
The idea we need to close our parliament down beacuse of a few rogue individuals is laughable . Did you shut the english parliament down after the anitcs of clowns like johnson or truss for example over recent years, and hand back control to the EU?
Practice what you preach pal.
Im with you 100 % on criticism of murrel and his wee clique . Thats as far as it goes though.

You wont be alone mate... Hang on . Doesnt your ruling party , the english tories , in englandshire have a current prime minister that was rejected at the ballot box by tory members , then foisted on the tory party and your country anyway against the wishes of practically everyone ? Lecturing us about dodgy democracy is laughable.
Im old enough to remember your parliament would nothonour the brexit vote of England by a democratic vote to leave . When holyrood sinks to the level of that westmisnter cesspit , you might have a point , but not before.

I would argue that the SNP peaked and is now spiralling into oblivion. It is now all about the survival of the organisation (power) in the wake of apparent failure.

There is no English Parliament. Labour never gave England a say on the matter of devolution. Their proposal for England was to break it up.
End devolution. Bulldoze Holyrood. Turn Bute house into a tearoom, or a pub.

I read somewhere or other that as well as shutting down the North sea oil production the SNP are banning ( their favorite activity) alcohol advertising, this includes advertising for the guided tours around distiliaries, this is a huge revenue source in the tourist season as all the tourists go on the tour and then buy a load of bottles of whisky.
The SNP are complete and utter morons, only surpassed in stupidity by the Green Party. I used to visit Israel a lot with work and used to stay in Tel Aviv, it is a great place and I strongly recommend a short break and now you can include a distillery visit, perfect. No rain, no midges, no idiot locals and better beer than Scotland.
