Yep, Chief Whip and Deputy also resign.
Reports of violent manhandling of MPs as they were dragged into the voting lobby with Rees Mogg shouting from the sidelines…

I'm surprised anybody wants to get on that sinking ship. The Truss-government I mean.

The vote was about fracking with the government first saying they were treating it as a confidence vote and would disenfranchise any Tory MP who failed to support then claiming to row-back on that at the last minute. Talk about order, counter-order, disorder.

They're not fit to govern. They have imploded. They've helped the remainer's cause by demonstrating they can't run a country without the oversight from Brussels. How sad and inept.
Not confident about Labour, but what I will say is that they can't be as bad as this pantomime. An absolute gift horse for kneel Starmer.

Braverman was never up to the job. Very vacuous and clearly from the nasty wing of the Tory party so was never going to get substantial backbench support.
Seems she deliberately leaked a cabinet only document to a back bencher to try and get opposition to what she perceived was a possible policy Hunt wanted on immigration (truth either way unknown) With luck she'll be out of politics at the next General Election

Yep, Chief Whip and Deputy also resign. Reports of violent manhandling of MPs as they were dragged into the voting lobby with Rees Mogg shouting from the sidelines… Mogg just said it was not a vote of no confidence. You see some thought it was and he was making sure they all knew as it was important. I have to give the man a tick you know, because whatever the situation, you never see him get angry or lose his rag. The same could not be said for some woman who "manhandled" the MPs according to BBC Radio 4 commentary. The mind boggles as to how a woman can manhandle someone. She might have had a sex change though.
