Yes I will fight her corner As with all BBC presenters involved with politics, she simply played "Devils Advocate" in order to prompt debate, or a response. What makes this particularly ridiculous is the fact that Fiona Bruce has supported and worked for the charity "Refuge" for many years, making it an absurd suggestion that she somehow "trivialised violence against women". Its getting to a situation now where public figures dare not open their mouths for it been wrongly interpreted What a pity you do not fight the corner that has caused this mess... |

Mainly due to the woke cancel culture, it is perfectly alright for a Tory or perceived right wing person to be shouted down and cancelled, think of JK Rowling, Jeremy Clarkson and so on, but as soon as anybody raises an eyebrow about clots like the crisp salesman Lineker coming up with rubbish it is all shrill cries of free speech from the lefties.
I think that Roy "Chubby" Brown should be accorded free speech, but because he takes the piss out of mothers in law and Muslims he is cancelled by all the Labour Councils, but their leftie pin up Lineker can call the Tories the Third Reich and nothing must be said.

So I am lying about the international law that states quite clearly that all asylum seekers have the right to go to any country they wish and not be penalised for doing so? Do grow up. I just put a link to a poll mate where 93% do not want lineker on their screens I suppose the usual karens on the board will vote out of tune as they always do.. Imagine if a Tory MP said anything derogatory regarding Jug ears and his football career, they'd quite rightly be told to stick to the job they are being paid to do, just like we're telling Jug ears to stick to the job he's employed to do, if MPs want to become football pundits quit politics, and if football pundits want to become politicians quit being a football commentator, quite simple reallly. |

Where does it stipulate to include 'illegal' migrants coming from a safe country? Under the existing mass migration circumstances how does one decide who is in genuine need of asylum and who isn't? Even if successfully separated, what can be legally done with those who are here but are not entitled to asylum, when they have no ID and no Passport to prove which country they are from? |

JK Rowling is a life long Labour voter and supporter I am a Labour supporter, and I am also a huge fan of Roy Chubby Brown, I know his chauffeur and right hand man personally, and I oppose those who would ban his shows, including the council in his own home town. Not all people of "the Left" are the same, same as people of "the Right", the Loony Militants of the Left are just as distasteful as the nasty right wing Populists. The issue for me about Linekar is not about politics, or the Left or Right, it is about Libitarianism, and the rights of citizens as private individuals and freedom of expression. It's easy, if they are picked up entering from France in a dinghy then we know they are not 'genuine' because they have 'paid' the traffickers to leave a 'safe' country, not rocket science. |
