Braverman knows what the right wing in the country thinks of asylum seekers and is using language guaranteed to wind them up. linkYou may find that the most concerned are those who have to live with it, instead of just passing the problem on whilst virtue signalling. My guess is that you are not part of those who do have to live with it, so it's a matter of finding your true motives. If you mean what I think you mean you are correct but if you do not mean what I think you mean please explain, language is very important. I will reply with what I think you mean. No I do not live with it as you say but the government are responsible for the situation of those that do not the refugee seekers. They could deal with this issue competently and at a much lower cost by having a 'plan'. What you and people like you are doing is blaming the victims and those that support a 'fair' system which returns the 'illegals' but accepts our commitment to the needy. As to my 'wanting everyone to come in' you unfortunately don't understand satire. 😔 The problem goes back over 70 years whereby National Servicemen were conscripted to sit idly in Egypt or quell riots in Palestine and Malaysia and immigration was accepted as the silver bullet to deal with the resultant shortfall of labour at home. Successive governments then applied strict council house dispensation based only on 'need' ignoring the specific need of families to remain in the same areas to maintain communities. Much is made of Thatcher destroying mining communities (that would be gone now anyway once the green policies bit) yet Labour governments managed to destroy the communities of their own voting base in many of the inner cities. A slower but surer process. |

You have not got a clue have you? I have already said that the government should have a sensible immigration policy which could include sharing the burden of the asylum seekers across the country instead they want them all in one place so they can use them as red meat for the right wing. The policy they are trying to bring in now will result in people being killed, if it is enacted which is highly unlikely but then they can focus your attention on the 'lefty' lawyers. I am not 'encouraging' life threatening trips across the channel, rather a sensible policy on asylum seekers would eliminate the need for such risky trips. Why do you think Sunak stood on a podium with the mantra 'stop the boats' as though small boats are trying to invade our country. It is quite deliberate. If the Tories were to say 'stop the refugees', which is what they are trying to do, the public would take a very different view. Saying I am part of the 'trafficking network' is a very childish statement. If talking to someone who has a different view to you makes you so angry, try shutting up. |
