Then instead of feasting on your nasty instinct to feed nasty insinuating Tory propaganda, attack her report. Insinuation is of the lowest caliber of debate, yet it appears so often to be the gut instinct of those on the right of politics. Oh my word, what an outburst. I'd like to say how unusual lol. I sincerely hope you are suitably offended see2. He is good for a laugh mate....Comedy at it's best....

That it, that the best they got against Kier Starmer, that he wouldn't say when he first approached Sue Grey to join the Labour party. Well if that's the best thank god we are getting rid of the Tories. Remind us how many times you asked someone to answer a question? But he didn't keep saying he had when he hadn't. He just said, I'm not saying.

If there is nothing suspicious here, why not just be open and give an answer?

Cant see the tories turning this around now. Sunak is despised , and they have made too many mistakes and too much of a mess that people have now run out of patience with them.
I saw an interview with tory david davis talking about the migration crises and how it was all the tory government and home office fault , as one example of public perception of where the tories have let their voting base down.
Time is running out , and of course with rishi selling norn ireland out , with much of the fall out still to come, i think they are sinking fast.
Don't bank on it,they have deployed the race card it will appeal to the puce faced rightwing bigots and enough of the red wall racists.

If there is nothing suspicious here, why not just be open and give an answer? Perhaps there was no simple answer. Maybe he had been nudging her for years. Maybe she promised to look at it when she finished her current role. Who knows. One thing I do know as an MD is that you never discuss your employee negotiations in public.

Thats fine but under Civil Service rules they have to if being poached for a job in the private sector.

Isn't this exactly what the cynical among us suspect might have happened? Followed by the assumption that it affected her conclusions. And that's the issue.

As Pacifico says, nobody can properly expand upon the substantial and relevant difference between the two events. Perhaps this added information points to how the distinction was drawn

Tam, a Labour landslide! Not a snowballs chance in hell. The best a Starmer led Labour party can hope for is a hung parliament. But if Sunak stops illegal cross channel immigration from the EU, and believe me that's what people want, then I suspect Tory prospects may improve by election day.
