It's quite surprising how bitter a pill it is to swallow for some people to acknowledge that Labour can win but they only can win if they are like Blair's Labour. If they are like Corbyn's Labour they will never win. People would rather turn to the LibDems instead if the Tories absolutely must lose. Yes the deep state will make sure of that like they did with Corbyn,if he had won at some stage the bastards would probably have killed him.

The 1992 election was a perfect example how to blow an election victory.
Namely, after 13 years of Tory-government, just like now, there was feeling in the air that enough of that government.
Labour was heading towards a victory and the polls looked good for them.
Then they had the Sheffield-rally which was broadcast on TV.
All the old communists were punching their fists in the air and chanting: "we will win, we will win".
At that moment many people thought: No you won't.
Up until the election day it was unclear who would win and the Tories winning with a narrow majority was a huge surprise.
Well, the government was tired, weak and exhausted from the start.
However, perhaps that silly Sheffield-rally changed the course of history. Perhaps there wouldn't have been Blair if only...

Do we really need another party identical to the tories though? Changing the faces without changing the policies? - well blah.. Well you got that right, same as America Republicans and Democrats, its a one party State, thats how we have gone, its not Democracy, its managed to maintain the Status quo, thats why there was so much Hysteria about Corbyn he would have ended that staus quo with his policies.

Communism is where the state owns all of industry, all of production, and where nationalisation of everything is the norm.
We now know this is nonsense, and we know that it does not work, and its why Tony Blair quite rightly changed Clause VI of the Labour Party which committed the party to wholesale nationalisation.
Blair said that where it is in the best interests of the country for institutions or services to be public owned, let it be so. But where it is in the national interest for services or institutions to be privately owned, let it be so.
This is called "The Third Way" free of political ideology
MOST British people want our NHS and Railways to be state owned and state run ... but most British people believe that industry should be privately owned.

In reality it means private and often foreign corporations impose their will over government policy, which led to mass-immigration and wars. The population is then controlled through collectivist Social Justice warriors and censorship. Together they basically make up Fascism.

Would have had a big effect for sure but so did Major's almost solo and unique campaigning and the fallout from the fiasco about Jennifer's ear. I believe in the end the pubic decided they much preferred the idea of trusting dull Major and not smarmy puppet Kinnock. Right call too.

It wouldn't surprise me if we never had another majority Labour government again. Labour are woke, Starmer couldn't say what a woman was ffs. The vast majority of people in this country do not like woke, and that will be Labours downfall.

I suspect that the Tory victory in 1992 had more to do with the left over deceitfulness of the Tory propaganda that left the job of getting rid of Thatcher down to her own party. The electorate were still too deeply conned into voting Tory. If they were woke you might be right, but lets see just how woke their manifesto is.

Nah the polls had Labour well in front until Major found a beer crate to stand on. Similar thing happened in the referendum when I backed Leave at 13/2 and was disappointed, a few hours before it had been 7/1. In June of the same years the Remnants were founded. lol

Looking back at Thatcher's period in office she did far more harm than good, yet the electorate continued to vote for her.
