Huge irony there FS especially with you deciding you are judge and jury with that 'Rayner is guilty'. She clearly isn't of anything other than annoying the dafter Tory press and their avid readers To be fair when any of us see you backing someone up, then it's just confirmation we are right. Oh dear more shallow ad homs ^ Why don't you try arguing your case in an intelligent way?

In the bible it says somewhere that rules (laws) are for the evil people. The god-fearing holy people don't need them. I guess that's correct, it is the nut jobs, the overly extreme etc. who IMO are often, probably unintentionally, being evil that is the reason we have them. Ah but the bible would say that's the reason we have the bible: to guide the soul to green pastures.

I remind you of the introduction to A Treatise of Human Nature (1739-40) by Hume.

Ah but the bible would say that's the reason we have the bible: to guide the soul to green pastures. Yes, but if it was easy we wouldn't need either the Bible or rules / laws. The bible explains the problem in Genesis. Eve was motivated by temptation, and Adam was too woke to be the perfect knight in shining armour who took on the evil and stopped it proliferating. From this point onwards god had a series of hassle with mankind not working properly, like Moses was seen to be pure but there were problems with his offspring! Kind of a bit like the Tyrell Corporation producing replicants which were faulty.

When you accuse others of parroting Neanderthalism it undermines your claim about unprovoked personal attacks. I'm just saying it's not helpful if you really want to keep exchanges civil. I suggest you read your own rules: ukpoliticsdebate.boards.net/thread/30/forum-rules-read 'You may accuse someone of making a 'moronic proposition or idea . . .'I suggest you behave in a civil manner if you wish to have civil debate. I strongly suspect you don't but just like to claim victimhood. Either way it's up to you but you do your claims of ''unprovoked attack'' no good with little digs like Neanderthalism.

A bloody large ruled note pad and box of crayons would have been nearer the mark for that dunce.....When will labour admit they introduced these cards and how much they spent on them in 2009 (with no COVID excuse) 900 million is the answer. Penny Mourdant shredded her in the HOC when the slapper was moaning about tory MP's expenses...
Labours head slapper defends buying an iPad and £249 'personalised' AirPods on expenses as she slams 'scandalous' spending on government procurement cards
The head slapperr was grilled on her expenses claims for Apple kit today as she laid into government waste.
The Deputy Labour Leader defended purchasing an iPad and £249 'personalised' AirPods with her MP funds.
It previously emerged that the Apple products were bought during the Covid lockdown in 2020 along with a new iPad that cost around £1,600.
Still raising that false story? The iPad and Airpods were valid expenses needed for her job during lockdown when frequent video meetings were the norm for MPs. The personalisation was free. The real issue being, as with my MP and her £40 kettle, in this case an MP standing up and whingeing about waste (some of which it now appears was down to civil servants choices not ministers) has spent £250 odd on phone accessories made by apple when perfectly functional alternatives are available for a tenth of that. The case of my MP I refer to was her happily shelling out £40 for a kettle when a perfectly good alternative was on a shelf in sainsburys for a quarter the price. Whats the issue ? Its my fucking taxes and if i cant afford it because they deliberately fucked my ability to stay list x certified so bastards like EDS could rip off my clients then neither should they be allowed it. Level fucking playing field and all that.
