Maybe you should have thought it out then before posting 'It does nothing of the sort' as a supposed rebuttal of 'direct evidence of what the role needs' if you didn't want it to look like you weren't suggesting they had gear they did not need. I don’t know what you are on about Steve and I suspect neither do you . Your posts and no one knows what the fuck you were on about pretending that direct evidence of comparable use was 'whataboutery' But then it is five syllables so . . . .

Lazy Grauniad journalism Her comment was about a tiny fraction of Tories* but they and other presented it as calling all Tories scum * The Eton educated members of Boris's close team

Maybe you are upset because you tried to use whataboutery and failed .

Blimey! Steve’s even telling Angela Rayner what she really meant 😁 No I read the Guardian article and not just the headline. It's what intelligent people do I read it too. Intelligent people would consider the words she used rather than the excuses afterwards . Which leaves you out old chap.

So for a start you missed the word Etonist. But then you carefully miss so much when it suits you

So for a start you missed the word Etonist. But then you carefully miss so much when it suits you Any intelligent person would realise that this “ We cannot get any worse than a bunch of scum, homophobic, racist, misogynistic, absolute vile … banana republic, vile, nasty, Etonian … piece of scum,”“ does not centre around Etonians but includes them within the insult . Any decent person would accept that this was a scattergun insult aimed at Tories in general . According to St Steve the word ‘ Banana republic ‘ means that she was only calling Etonians who govern a banana republic scum . Right Steve ? Maybe only homophobic, racist, misogynistic, , vile, nasty, Etonians who govern a banana public even? The excuses are endless on planet Steve .😆

her comment was if reported correctly its a mixed bag starting with 'a bunch' and ending with one person in mind. “We cannot get any worse than a bunch of scum, homophobic, racist, misogynistic, absolute vile … banana republic, vile, nasty, Etonian … piece of scum,” she said at the event, before adding that she had “held back a little”. If Steve is correct and the comment was directed at team Boris --- context --- then it is nowhere as bad as the whingers make out.

Another apologist for Rayner. ^( hiding behind the first apologist’s excuses .)

"em·piri·cism" philosophy, the theory that all knowledge is based on experience derived from the senses. Stimulated by the rise of experimental science, it developed in the 17th and 18th centuries, expounded in particular by John Locke, George Berkeley, and David Hume." Emotional memory gained through the sensory system and held in memory by the emotional system, is not knowledge known to the thinking brain. This is the point of confusion for philosophers and others. Hume's book is not about emotions. In fact it is surprisingly modern in that it deals with issues that come into quantum mechanics. Are you familiar with observation in QM and relativity? It is a right head-twister, as was Hume's book. I'm not saying it was all exactly as we think of now, but the enquiry was barking up the right tree, and when others took Hume seriously they too barked up the right tree until it was mastered. He was on the bleeding edge. He was Newton-type figure, as in an intellectual revolutionary, willing to argue against the entire body of academic thought. This is why he is so great, and why the BBC would never talk of him. They rather promote feminist writers and the like.
