I suspect that most of the figures and statistics are simply imagined rubbish to back up your arguments, the NHS in England and Scotland are in a parlous state, in the case of Scotland made worse by the propensity for drink, drugs and violence of the population. You know exactly what my problem with the GRR is, like all right thinking normal people I find it abhorrent. Instead of waffling bollocks as is your want. How about you correcting the figures. You are the one who said they are wrong. So if they are wrong you must know the correct ones. Simple as. Then explain to me in your stupid statement,. How are the English are anti English. That is what you said. And you matey are in no position to pontificate to anybody in the world about anything anti. Your hate filled anti Scottish bile runs your sad life. And you still have not told me what your problem is with the Scottish GRR bill is. Well at least it is giving a ferry cock up a break.

I have just read three statements from three posters which are False Statements
The Squeezed Middle ... "Ahem, "Private Ambulances" generally transport dead people"
Bentley ... " If you see a private ambulance , it’s there to pick up a stiff"
Red Rackham ... "Generally speaking, a private ambulance doesn't look much like an 'ambulance'. They are essentially, vans" ---------------------------------------------------- Private ambulances are regularly used to transport NHS patients to and from hospitals, and one reason why I know this to be correct is because a private ambulance went to collect an elderly relative who is an amputee, the crew did not have a wheelchair, and had to go and borrow one.
MOST of the private ambulances I see look very similat to ordinary local NHS ambulances
I stand by my original post ... the NHS is been run down whilst private operaters are gradually taking over, its happening, anyone can see its happening.

A private ambulance ... one of a growing number been used in the UK, along with private Nursing Banks, where instead of the usual salary / costs to the NHS, the price per shift is often double or triple the price. Of course when you research these private companies, you more often than not find some Tory Party shareholders in them. Same as the PPE scandal, and the other scandals where Tories awarded huge contracts to FRIENDS, probably in return for a brown envelope.

Why? - you have just said that they are not equipped the same and dont do the same job so why do they need to be similar to an ordinary ambulance?

If they are being used to transport patients to and from hospitals then they are allowing the more specialised ambulances to make use if their equipment.

It beggars belief that any one who lives in Scotland can blame the Tories for the mess Sturgeon has made? Even Alex Salmond that prick says ... "Nicola Sturgeon's 'self-indulgent' gender policy sets independence back 30 years, claims Alex Salmond Despite their former partnership, the ex-SNP leader launched a scathing critique of how the First Minister's gender policy has set the Nats indy ref dreams back decades". LOL and note it's not the Daily Mail .. www.scottishdailyexpress.co.uk/news/politics/nicola-sturgeons-self-indulgent-gender-29151668 What mess has the SNP made. Second time I have asked. Or are you trying to blame them for 500 people a week dying in bankrupt England every week, waiting on a ambulance. That's over 70 a day. Allow me a copy and p[aste as you failed to underhand the first time I posted it. The number of patients spending over 12 hours in A&E was 0.2 per cent in Scotland, 2 per cent in England. Scottish nurses are the highest paid in the UK. NHS waiting times. 945,072 people waited more than 12 hours in England A&E departments in 2021-22. That’s 48 times larger than the figure for Scotland 19,667. Scottish nurses average pay is £36,631 in England £33,384. Health care spending in Scotland per person is £100 more than in England. The UK wankers in Westminster have spent 20% less on health care than similar EU countries since the wankers took power. Once bankrupt England goes its merry way. It will never catch up. Scotland has 96 GPs per 100,000, to bankrupt England's 76. Scotland has 840 qualified nurses per 100,000 to bankrupt England's 586. Scotland has 68 student nurses and midwives per 100,000. Double that of England's at 36 on both. Scotland student nurses , midwives and paramedics receive a bursary of £10,000 a year. And Scottish students do not pay any tuition fees. What mess up are you on about. And you still have not told me what your problem with the GRR policy is. And what has 500 people a day dying in bankrupt England waiting on a ambulance to do with the SNP. You are making one shitty job of defending the indefensible. . Having a rasping idiot as leader.

A few years ago I had never heard of Private Ambulances, now I see them quite regularly .. but why ? There s an advert currently running on TV for Spire Healthcare, deliberately made to show a nice peaceful private hospital, free from mayhem and stress, and where everything is laid back and orderly, with children playing in the outside play area. I am not one to believe in Conspiracy Theories, but now I am beginning to seriously wonder if the Tory goal has been to run down the NHS so badly, that private healthcare would flourish and take up the slack. Are we heading for a health service for the well off, and a basic, second rate NHS for the less well off ?, it certainly looks that way from where I stand. Some clowns will still be in denial the day they have to get their credit card out to see the Doctor, thats how far the brainwashing has gone, they will deny its happening even while its happening to them.

There always has and always will be a better health service for the well off. Even if we completely banned private health services in the UK , the well off could access them for the price of a plane ticket. What we need to do is use private health services when they are a better option or a decent second option .
