As i said, you feel you are using road markings to correct the attitudes of the population. It's doesn't matter that the correct attituded is called 'acceptance' Again - you are just using different words to say the same thing. We already know you have a crackpot social theory that deems some people worthy of attitude correcting road markings and others not. In fact, that's how i described (lampooned) your position when we started. Are you now suggesting that i have to accept your whole crackpot social theory for your road markings argument to make any sense at all? Earlier I posted a newspaper article about the girl stabbed to death in Warrington. It seems the the gay brigade is upset because the death certificate will say she is male. Reality is she is indeed male who has fairly recently assumed girlhood. The world has gone mad. Nope, the truth is that many people are waking up to the understanding that human reproduction is far from perfection. I wonder if you like me have observed (amongst other things) over our many years, a male with narrow shoulder and broad hips, or a female with broad shoulders and narrow hips?

I can only imagine / speculate on the level of confusion you must experience in your personal life I am less confused than many because I have taken note of reality. Simpletons are often not confused because they plod along with their fixed opinions. The people who may be confused are those who are caught between the old beliefs and and the new reality. The cat is now out of the bag, and the reality will be increasingly understood in the future.

Invocations to some overwhelming and unstoppable 'new reality' that will sweep the 'old reality' away. What do think is causing the 'new reality', flying saucers?

You fail to convince me that the gay lobby should determine the sex applied to a death certificate which was the point I was making. Perhaps Fairy Soap flakes is involved.

It's the same for working age people too you know, many of us not enjoying taxpayer funded handouts either. And unlike you pensioners, we also pay NI. And any pensioner with enough of an income to be paying income tax is unlikely to be destitute. Pensioners have the same personal allowance as everyone before paying income tax- currently £12,570 (slightly over £1000 a month) If your logic considers a pensioner with an annual income of £13000 unlikely to be destitute why do you not apply the same logic to those on tens of thousands of tax free taxpayer funded handouts? The latter are unlikely to be destitute either. But some of them are far more likely to have dependent children than pensioners, and are far more likely to be paying extortionate private rents. I note that the only taxpayer funded handouts you seem to approve of are the ones pensioners get. Which is typical of the hypocrisy of Tory supporting old farts

But everyone else has to pay NI too.

I am not talking about pensions but other taxpayer handouts to pensioners. And you yourself epitomise the double standard in supporting this whilst at the same time resenting all help for the working poor, some of whom may well end up wiping your arse for for a pittance in your dotage. The attitude of so many of the old gits around here positive reek of double standards, hypocrisy and a sense of entitlement. Yours is typical. The working poor? On tax free mid £40000s because the few hours a week they fancy working means they can get a ''top up'' of nearly £40000 to ''get by'' when there are many pensioners still paying tax Only one displaying double standards here is you Stop talking shit. Now you are making up fantasy figures. No one only working a few hours a week gets 40k in benefits unless they have loads of kids and a massive private rent. The latter of course is down to the failure to introduce rent control and is not money for claimants but money for their greedy landlords. Again, you make shit up and begrudge any help for working people no matter what their circumstances whilst willing to defend all handouts to pensioners, including even the wealthy ones. The typical double standards of the usual money grubbing, scrounging Tory pensioner.

I speak as I find. And do you need the winter fuel allowance you are given? genuinely need it? And if not do you keep the money anyway and defend your right to it? If so, what makes you better than a welfare scrounger with a sense of entitlement? Then your findings are wrong. I pay tax and for the past 16 or so months I have paid two to three times the amount for heating oil that I used to pay. Where I live there is no gas supply laid on and it's either electric or oil heating. In August 2021 I paid £234 for 500 litres of oil. A month or so later, on hearing of an impending price rise, I got a quote for 500 litres @ £639; I didn't buy. Since then I have bought theree lots of 500litres, 1 x £550, 1 x £520 and 1 x £460. I have received two £100 government rebates and you ask whether people like me are sponging. Now do what you have told others to d and fuck off, you've no idea outside your little left wing indoctrination, go nback to Jarrow. Why don't you fuck off yourself. You sound like the typical tabloid mindset pensioner who thinks pensioners should be treated far better than everyone else at the expense of said everyone else. The working population work and pay our taxes to help support you, so a little gratitude for us and less selfish mean spiritedness might not go amiss. Instead you want ever more for yourselves, even the ones amongst you who are seriously well off, whilst begrudging any help at all to the very working people you expect to pay for it. Your attitudes are breeding resentment. But it seems to be only right wing pensioners who think this way. It's a pity there are not a few less of your sort and a few more of the more generous spirited and reasonable ones. Because it is not pensioners I resent per se. My own mum is a pensioner. It is the greedy right wing ones who think there should be ever more for them, their handouts untouchable no matter how well off they are whilst begrudging any help at all to working age people, the very people whose labours and taxes are supporting them. The hypocrisy, double standards, selfishness, mean-spiritedness, and sense of entitlement in all this is actually contemptible if only you could see it. The me, me, me generation in its dotage. You should be ashamed of yourselves

Otoh the highest figure is for Central London, which is in the region of £550 per week.
