The thing is Tommo, the UK has a mechanism to replace the PM if he/she/it fails to perform, that is a sign of a mature and functioning democratic society. There doesn't seem to be that mechanism available in Scotland, if for example any particular FM is alleged to have stolen political contributions, misappropriate UK covid funds, lied to Parliament, tried to unlawfully lock up political rivals, passed laws using powers they don't possess and failed to fill in potholes, then you are unable to remove that particular FM unless he/she/it chooses to go in his/her/its own time.
I think that our system is the better one.

I think that our system is the better one. Our first minister is doing a good job. Why should she need replacing to satisfy the bleating of british nationalists?
Has she got it wrong on the GRR bill? Aye i believe so.
Does that warrant her being replaced? No.
I think our proportional system at holyrood is the better system. Is it perfect? Not by a long shot.
Has she? I think you may have misread the story om.
lmfao. Yet om is strangely silent about british nationalist michelle mones behaviour , as well as the mess your own government made wasting billions of covid funds. Strange that .
From the man who supported boris johnson , the most infamous liar in yookay political history , is fucking rich.
Are you defending alec salmond now in desperation?
I tell you om i can hear the desperation in your voice. Why wont the jocks listen?
Sturgeon has many faults , and i personally have criticised her for many things. Most of us scots will be damned if we condemn her on behalf of right wing crackpots in another country.

She's done a good job of fucking up the separatist cause.
No way would Scotland ever break away now.
Perverts charter has spectacularly backfired. Ferry fiasco and more. Useless head bobbling nutbag.

Asked whether the EU will accept Scotland rejoining, Varoufakis replied: “Within 10 seconds.”
“The European Union elites look at Brexit as a major defeat. They may not say so, but they took it as a major defeat. And therefore they will seize the opportunity to take their revenge on Boris Johnson and the London Tories, the English Tories, by bringing Scotland in. There’s no doubt.”

Ignoring the rules for a silly fantasy that will never happen.
You don't even know what the EU really is. You just hate the English and want any excuse to spite them.

BoE official says Brexit productivity penalty is £1,000 per household
Back in the UK, a Bank of England policy maker has warned that a wave of business investment was “stopped in its tracks” by the Brexit vote nearly seven years ago.
Jonathan Haskel, an external member of the Bank’s Monetary Policy Committee, said an interview with The Overshoot that business investment had “basically flattened out” after the 2016 referendum.
That drop in business investment growth, the Bank has calculated, has created a productivity penalty of about 1.3% of GDP.
This is based on what would have happened if investment carried on growing at the pre-referendum rate.
Haskel explained to the Overshoot:
That 1.3% of GDP is about £29 billion, or roughly £1000 per household.
At the end of the forecast period, the penalty goes up to something like 2.8% of GDP, which is very close to the 3.2% number we found using the totally different reduced form methodology based on goods trade volumes.
This is a timely point, after The Observer reported that a cross-party summit bringing together leading leavers and remainers has been held, to try to address and remedy the failings of Brexit.

You seem to be approaching a crescendo of absolute desperation vincent. With the never ending news of brexits failure , starmer on the verge of becoming the new prime minister , and the prospect of being dragged back into the Eu as the tories implode and are politically wiped out seems to be sending the jitters across the baying right wing brexiter mob.

When we were members there was excessive industrial decline and increasing destitution in our industrial heartlands. EU energy policy left us with shortages of power and a dependence on imported coal for our steel industry, with some steel mills closing down forever.
The situation we had as members was dire and you want to spurn the UK because of a fantasy.
Get a grip, loser.

The uk wanted to join the old EEC for the very reasons you state in your post........records show harold macmillan noting the rapid advances made by the old enemies France and Germany while the uk went on a downward spiral , economically military and of course suez is highlighted as the point when the uk was no longer recognised as a world power.
Your energy policy is not the fault of the EU. It is the fault of successive labour and tory governments who have dithered over energy policy over many decades. You are out the EU , and have been for three years. When the brexit elysian fields do not materialse in thirty years time , are you still going to blame brussells because you cant face reality?
The eu is the future vinny. You small time rag tag right wing brexiters are the past , the last throw of the dice of a desperate people trying to find significance for yourself .

Dream on fantasist.
The EU has done nothing to create economic parity across it and the result is poverty migration. Manufacturers move where the lowest costs of employment are. Poor foreigners move to where wages are highest in the hope of work and the Commission based autocracy does nothing to address normal people's needs.
You'd still be pushing your silly separatism even if the UK had voted to stay in the EU.
Your reasons are not economic.
Your movement's reasons are racist.
You separatists institutionally hate English people.
You're part of a xenophobic bigoted fascist movement.
A movement which is as popular as a shot glass full of cold sick.
You're going to get a nasty shock at some point, cultist.

Not anymore she ain't. Oh dear, how sad, never mind. knowing your luck om , history might be repeating itself.
this might be similar to the parnell scandal in ireland , and the beginning of the end of the old irish national party. Brit nats sat back and gleefully said thats it ireland , back in you box.
Along came de valera , collins etc , and sinn fein , and a few years down the line ireland was independent.
I would be carefull what you wish for om. You might not have liked sturgeon , but she was an effective lock on scottish indy with her identity politics and gradualism.
