Two new Scottish polls show that Nicola Sturgeon is still more popular than every other leading politician
There's been chatter in some quarters, which seems to me rooted largely in wishful thinking, that Nicola Sturgeon is on the way out as First Minister due to increasing unpopularity. And it's certainly true that her personal ratings in opinion polls have dipped, and it may well even be true that this is partly because her foolishness in placing herself so thoroughly and comprehensively on the wrong side of public opinion on the trans issue has finally caught up with her. But there's one obvious problem with the 'Sturgeon is toast' theory - why is every other leading politician still less popular than she is? If she's toast, then presumably the same must be true to an even greater extent of Anas Sarwar, and Keir Starmer, and Rishi Sunak, and Alex "Fast Bowler" Cole-Hamilton.
YouGov Net Ratings (Scotland-only poll, 23rd-26th January 2023): Nicola Sturgeon: -4 Keir Starmer: -10 Stephen Flynn: -12 Lorna Slater: -12 Anas Sarwar: -14 Alex Cole-Hamilton: -14 Patrick Harvie: -16 John Swinney: -20 Douglas Ross: -35 Rishi Sunak: -40
Ipsos UK Net Ratings (Scotland-only poll, 30th January-1st February 2023):
Nicola Sturgeon: 0 Keir Starmer: -1 Anas Sarwar: -4 Douglas Ross: -41 Rishi Sunak: -42

Nope, you're in a cult which more than 55% of Scots disagree with on a wide range of subjects.

OK, convince me that Sturgeon isn't under Police investigation, and that support for independence hasn't dropped off following the failures of the Gender Recognition. another poll for you om on sturgeon.
On Sturgeon’s leadership, 45 per cent believed she should remain as first minister at least until the next Holyrood election while 42 per cent thought she should stand down now and 13 per cent didn’t know.
Chart: The Times and The Sunday Times • Source: Panelbase surveyed 1415 adult voters in Scotland on February 6-10, 2023
suggest a net positive satisfaction rating with sturgeon.
Majoirty want her to stay till at least next election , with 13 % not bothered either way.looks to me the grr bill is yet another failed british nationalsit propaganda assault on sturgeon. As i said , im sure she will step down at one point , all politicos have a shelf life , but it doesnt look likely at the minute.

You are Jaydee and I claim my fifty pence.
80% of Scots are horrified at the Perverts Charter and so far it appears to have caused huge damage to the Separatists cause, if you believe it is "failed" explain why the former solid SNP supporting organisations of Police Scotland and the Prison Service have put it in the dustbin and reverted to normal procedures.

Im not sure what you arent getting , but jaydee is correct in much of what he says about you without a doubt.
I dont support sturgeons grr bill. There is much i and many other scots dont support in many of the snp policies . The problem you have is scottish independence isnt about a political figurehead like sturgeon and isnt party specific i nterms of there are many pro indy parties , not just the snp.
No indy supporter is going to vote a brit party wether or not they support the GRR bill. What part of that do you not understand?
Now if you have evidence that the grr bill has damaged the nationalist cause ( you are the seperatist my friend , not us , you voted to leave the european union) then by all means post it please. The evidence i have seen so far shows the contrary.

If Scotland had broken away the perverts charter would now be law, as would a whole load of other far left insanity.
Scotland has dodged an enfilade of bullets.

Scotland has dodged an enfilade of bullets. well what you call the perverts charter was first actually passed by the labour party back in 2004 , and then subsequently reinforced by the equality act in 2010 vinny. The GRR bill was in the snp manifesto since 2016 , and has been hotly debated ever since.
When it was voted on , it had cross party support , including full support from labour , and even tories including the former scottish tory leader.
I can see sturgeon refusing to step down and still getting positive ratings is starting to take its toll on unionists , with an increasingly desperate shrill in their voices .
Looks like its back to the drawing board vinny.

No mandate for changing a law that is the competence of the British government.
Reserved matter, not devolved.
Get over it loser.

We already have examples of the very thing you are talking about from history 100 years ago when the irish were told the same . Irish independence was illegal and the laws governing it was the competence of the british government.
Guess what happened?

We have been speculating on who might be the next FM, Sturgeon is obviously on the way out, Kate Forbes name has copped up in conversation, she seems relatively normal (compared to Sturgeon), hasn't been tainted with lying, theft or overt wokism and opposes the Perverts Charter, we'll see.

Scottish tinpot fuhrer Sturgeon has limited powers.
She and her fascist party cannot override reserved powers. UK law is superior to devolved law.

Change the voting system to a fairer one and Sturgeon would be screwed.
