A senior officer said his offending was "unprecedented in policing".
Hardly unprecedented Has this ''senior'' officer already forgotten abut Sara Everad's murder by a serving Met cop ?

Just a footnote to the above post, if those figures are true of over 1000 officers and staff are under investigation. That is absolutely staggering......It just shows what can happen when you put a Dick in charge of the MET.

The Met diversity and inclusion strategy looking too intensely for microagressions against selected ethic or gender groups to notice a real villain amongst them?

The Met diversity and inclusion strategy looking too intensely for microagressions against selected ethic or gender groups to notice a real villain amongst them? Possibly. If you tell a psychopath which words he should use, and what attitudes to display, to allay suspicion, he will happily use and display them. Woke culture is a powerful mechanism to overlook the obvious psychopaths and target the innocent

Hmmm... I have absolutely zero faith in that.

But haven’t we been told that there are only one or two bad apples…? The Met does have a bad reputation other forces less so and it dents the trust in the emergency services and this has spread to the fire service too now. I think and hope the majority are there for the good of us all, there are the bad apples and I’ve come across them but there is change and why we now hear more of those bad apples being brought to book so whilst it looks grim it is in fact a positive that this is happening because they are all that stands between us and mayhem.

Met officers were out of control long before Dick came to prominence over her cock up of the Jean Charles de Menezes killing and schooling of armed officers in their evidence to the following massaged enquiry…

I don't think you can ever stamp out criminality in the force all the time yet they need to take action to make it much harder.
I do wonder how much background checks they undertake when they recruit?
Also whether they need to be moved say every 6 months to another office at least in cities.

That is what he has stated and has doubled the investigation team dealing with the allegations made against Officers and Police Staff

How long did this take to become a diatribe about institutional racism in the met ..complete with disguised black policemen ( one claiming that he was in the verge of suicide)? …todays news , that’s how long.
