totally agree. Remember though all the lies we were told.
First we didnt need masks , you got it by touch , then we did need masks you didnt get it by touch.
Then get vaccinated to save elderly aunt from transmission.
Then getting vaccinated didnt stop transmission and elderly aunt , stuck like a pin cushion and masked up 24 7 still caught covid .
Anyone pointing out the discrepancies , and tossing and turning were fobbed off with excuses .
Then who actually had covid? When jor bloggs was knocked down and killed in a road traffice accident , we were told he tested positive for covid two days earlier ,so it was a covid death.
I mean FFS. Does anyone actually still believe this shite?
Coronavirus was real , and natural ,and as we have seen nothing could be done about it.
Until everyone caught it and a measure of herd immunity was gained by various populations , which is what i understand china are having issues with currently while the rest arent..........

The covid cultists hate reading this sort of truth. Many people still think that the government and SPI-B and the SAGE team were all telling us the unadulterated truth. They were certainly not telling the truth with their abysmal forecasts about what scary things would happen if we didn't lock down again/ put masks on / keep apart 2 metres. The communist Susan Mitchie, Hancock, Whitty and Valance claimed to have our best interests at heart and were doing all they could to "Protect the NHS". We were being damaged by attempts at kindness. Well, the NHS has collapsed, but no one will admit it yet. No ambulances. Scant casualty services with seriously delayed care. General excess deaths are higher than Covid excess deaths. This is what happens when panicked into serious tunnel vision and just looking at one illness. Still they push the jabs which neither guarantee immunity or passing on the virus. However the virus has mutated many times and is far less dangerous. Influenza/pneumonia is now killing more than the China virus in the UK. |

That's all well and good Handyman, but where is the evidence cloth and light surgical masks actually stop viruses? Since the Pandemic arrived they made it quite clear the cloth or normal surgical masks would only offer some protection for the wearer and other, they also advocated people should buy much better masks that stopped the Virus entering to masks. |

If this is true then people who have had all the vaccinations offered to them (repeated boosters) should wear masks in public places as they are more likely to be infected and hence more of a risk to others. It appears to be saying that whilst the vaccines protect against serious illness they now leave people more at risk of actually catching covid, albeit with less serious symptoms. 90+% of the Chinese population have been vaccinated ... but the virus is running rampant there. |

Ok a couple of points The opening paragraphs of the study lay out figures for new movers of people that received two vaccinations and numbers that experienced COViD prior to the study but they do not state if the disease was caught prior to vaccination (as in my own case, twice) or after vaccination (as in my own case, once) In the early days of the disease while a vaccine was still being developed I received a heads up from a friend now retired who was a virologist and remains a member of the Royal Society drawing attention to an article he had seen that measured the gamma globulin levels in vaccine trials fell away to nothing after sixty days. His initial interest was triggered with the realisation that the testing regimen ran for only sixty days, whereas he would have expected it to continue for much longer. This paper he pointed me at showed why testing stopped at sixty, there was a total collapse of globulin based immunity after that point. many vaccines for a variety of diseases have a widely varying period over which they are effective. Jabs for tetanus for example last for ten years, jabs for yellow fever three months. War journalists and any in any medical profession know this of course from the fact they are often a pincushion ! The point my friend was highlighting is the likelihood that the protection afforded by the vaccine in this research he had found was more towards the short lived side than the long. That is not a huge surprise, given other vaccines against other things, but it was a disappointment, as it indicated those most at risk of exposure, doctors and nurses etc would need frequent boosters The rest of the paper referenced by the previous post seems to compare the likelihood of catching one of the more recent versions after being vaccinated as compared to the earlier strains of the pox. I’m not particularly surprised by this. |

Well said John. So many people seem to have had a child like belief that a vaccine gives everyone receiving them lifelong 100% immunity. Maybe that's what their mistaken parents told them, maybe that's their sad misreading of what the government actually said. But it was never true.
To now misrepresent the reality as some evidence the government's actions on Covid were wrong is at best pathetic, to misrepresent the actual vaccine outcomes (as some do) is malicious dishonesty

Well said John. So many people seem to have had a child like belief that a vaccine gives everyone receiving them lifelong 100% immunity. Joe biden famously claimed that you arent going to get covid if you have these vaccines which turned out to be demonstrably untrue.
Anecdotally , i have had a number of vaccinations against covid , and i have caught covid afterwards three times at least that i know of........
