I saw yesterday in the local super market the number of people who were waring masks had increased considerably and the good old woke GP surgeries here are now making masks mandatory yet again.
World Health Organisation warns XBB.1.5 is the 'most transmissible' Covid variant yet as 'the Kraken' strain starts sweeping the UK There are no signs XBB.1.5 is more deadly than previously dominant variants But the WHO said it is 'concerned about its growth advantage in particular' XBB.1.5 has already taken hold in the US but has now started to spread in UK

Some people have never stopped wearing masks especially those who are vulnerable underlying conditions or age even though it is no longer mandatory in most places , as for GP Surgery not the healthiest places to be at any time before the Pandemic with people coughing and spluttering all over the place.
As for GP's Surgeries like any other employer they are bound by Health and Safety Regulations to protect themselves and their staff, even taking precautions many NHS staff working in Hospitals are off sick due to Covid.
From what I have read about this new strain of the Virus our present Vaccines are not much good against it if at all, if it is more dangerous than the first one they are not certain, can anyone be 100% accurate about it,? IMHO No.

cant remember where it was , but i saw an interview the other day , might have been farage , interviewing some doctor regarding the re emerging covid hysteria , and specifically she said masks cannot stop any virus.
She said (the normal cloth /paper ) masks need to be less than five microns in terms of the holes in them to stop viruses , the average cloth/paper mask is 440 microns or something like that.
She also mentioned the pcr tests we all used.........and how completley unreliable they were for covid.
Apparently , they are virus specific and should be set at "27 cycles , where the standard pcr test the uk government was involved in issuing for us to use was set above 40 cycles.( excuse the terminology , im not a scientist or doctor)
This then led to consistently giving false positives and false negatives.
Still if wearing a face mask gives some people a sense of security , then crack on .My problem is with forcing this on others , which i dont agree with. Each to their own.

USA extends Covid vaccine requirement for foreign visitors
The USA is adopting a position where someone with Covid-19 but has had two vaccines can enter freely, but someone unvaccinated and does not have the virus cannot enter.

There was a Long Covid expert on Farage yesterday, Dr Tina Peers, who said that masks were useless. The Virus was 5 microns whereas the holes were 600 microns. I suppose a bit like stopping footballs going through holes the size of penalty boxes. |

As soon as masks became mandatory I noticed that most people failed to stay 2 meters apart except in queues.
The masks were the focus against catching COVID and other precautions such as only touching goods that you were going to buy were not particularly adhered to .

So what is the point of "vulnerable people" wearing them...
I've been through this business multiple times, the only thing masks of any sort short of my fully enclosed porton down NBC suit with self contained beathing aparatus akin to scuba can do is reduce the transmittion distance of droplets carrying the infection from someone who is infected.

Remember though all the lies we were told.
First we didnt need masks , you got it by touch , then we did need masks you didnt get it by touch.
Then get vaccinated to save elderly aunt from transmission.
Then getting vaccinated didnt stop transmission and elderly aunt , stuck like a pin cushion and masked up 24 7 still caught covid .
Anyone pointing out the discrepancies , and tossing and turning were fobbed off with excuses .
Then who actually had covid? When jor bloggs was knocked down and killed in a road traffice accident , we were told he tested positive for covid two days earlier ,so it was a covid death.
I mean FFS. Does anyone actually still believe this shite?
Coronavirus was real , and natural ,and as we have seen nothing could be done about it.
Until everyone caught it and a measure of herd immunity was gained by various populations , which is what i understand china are having issues with currently while the rest arent..........
