Yours apparently. Seeing as those who wanted the statues taken down were not trying to erase history, but the cease celebrating slavers. But I don't think there is that much attention being paid to old slavery, just a statue thrown in a harbour how long ago? |

The percentage of slaves to population is lower today, but the physical number of slaves is greater. In America, they're wanting to take money off those who have never owned slaves and give it to those who haven't been slaves. And to help all this, apparently removing statues and changing street names is the answer. We live in strange times. Unfortunately, every single person in the past will fail against today's laws and values. Every single person today will fail against the laws and values in 200 years time.
