There have always been failure to correctly diagnose cases and they happen in all developed countries. If anyone thinks any health service can offer a 100.000% perfect diagnosis first time performance then they need to get real. As for the horrendous ambulance delays some are seeing then every proper analysis says it's down to two root cause factors: underfunding of the care sector leading to bed blocking and privatisation of ambulance services without setting proper performance targets/penalty payments. Both down to the Tories. Fuck off. In the USA if you go to a GP with a headache they find out why you have a headache. Here the usless tossers give you a bloody aspirin tablet. And as for missdiagnosis even in the thrird world they wouldn't do it 3 times on the trot. |

I last saw a GP for a consultation in February 2020 in Kingswinford. Shortly after that the NHS closed their doors to patients. They also switched off the appointment system using a phone app, so the only way to contact them was on the phone. I moved to Kent later that year and registered with a GP practice. They also did not allow appointments using an app. So I avoided them like the plague. Stopped taking any blood pressure tablets and I've never felt better. Funnily enough, I did see a doctor at Tonbridge Baptist Church which the NHS had commandeered to give anti-Covid Astra Zeneca jabs. The doctors were out in force as they were being paid around £20 a jab to sign up the prescriptions. I've since moved again and it is still impossible to make an appointment. They don't answer the phone so I don't ring them. I've lost all confidence in the NHS, so we will use SWMBO's excellent knowledge, along with doctor Google and the local pharmacy and herbal treatments. If that or a stiff brandy can't cure it, we'll join the queue for the undertakers and the afterlife. Just before me and my partner went to the USA for thanksgiving a chippy mate of mine had an arguement with an electric skillsaw, his ate drove him to Torbay A&E and they had to wait over 2 hours to be seen with blood pissing out of his hand. The guy he eventualy saw in A&E stopped the bleading and dressed the wound and told my mate too ciome back in 48 hours to get it checked and redressed which he did. The guy he saw then took off the dressings and checked the wound and cleaned it. But here is the rub there was no-one ther who new how to dress it as it was in an akward place on his left hand. Some old fat slapper of a nurse came along and said the only nurse who knew how to dress the wound would not be in for another 36 hours. A policeman who was in the next cubicle as he had brought in some pisshead who was out of his box heard the dilema my mate was in and duly carried on and dressed his wound and put it in a sling. That very same night my mate and his partner came to ours for a meal said about the abysmal treatment and my partner a nurse said I am afraid that is nothing some of these so called nurses are bloody useless ad are only fit to empty ebdpans or escort those who can walk to the loo. She loked at the dressing on my mates hand which the police officer had dressed and told him she wished if nurses could dress a wound only half as good as that polie officer did the A&E's would make a quatam leap forward. Jut like the NHS management half te friggig staff are noteven fit for purpose and that is why those who do know what they are doing are stretched to the limit. And guess which ones who are on strike. Yep you got it the pig innorant lefty free-loaders who are not fit for purpose and are not worth te money they con from us all. |

There are many countries with limited resources where doctors dedicate their skills to help people, and do stirling work.
According to you our over paid GPs need money to perform well, if they don't have money they don't perform well, do you know how ludicrous that sounds.
It's not about money, its about being dedicated to the job, and to answer your question many people who go abroad have to use substandard medical facilities, with better results than the quacks we see here.
