I sort of expect the trains and post to arrive late so I am not bothered by whatever the railway workers and posties get up too. And my impression of the NHS is of brisk inefficiency, so I can't say that I have noticed much change as a result of the nurses strike.
How about you guys?

Nothing much here - I had a letter I was waiting for arrive late but whether that was due to the strikes or just normal service who knows.

Not really.
I don’t go anywhere by train these days, the Welsh NHS under Labour doesn’t send ambulances until you’re dead… the only inconvenience is the Royal Mail and only then because things I buy from Amazon are sometimes sent by post.
I don’t need my passport renewed until September ….
Who else is striking ??

I have been under orders to schlep up to Cardiff to help stop the daughter's new house from falling into the street, but I can't now because the Jacquerie have gotten ideas above their station.
Damn, I was so looking forward to tackling the delights of late(ish) Victorian plumbing

I've been positively affected. I'm currently on a number of training courses which largely involve schlepping across London, to the most inconvenient locations possible, in order to be told stuff that I already know more about than the instructors do.
But now, thanks to the strikes, they've decided to run the courses remotely via "Teams". So I'm still being taught to suck eggs but at least I'm doing it from the comfort of my own home.
Rail strikes. Long may they continue!

The District Nurse who visited me reacted when I said I hoped she'd get her pay rise by saying that the problem with the NHS is about how badly run it is ... that paying nurses more will not bring about the changes necessary.

I refuse to cross a picket line.
Which is bollocks but it might work

No, fortunately all this strike action has so far not affected Mrs R and I.
