Besides a small number of hardcore feminists, I’m really not sure they do.
When you’re getting your car fixed, is it a man or woman who repairs it?
What about when you call a plumber? Or a gas fitter, or an electrician?
This isn’t to say there is anything wrong with the few women in these jobs but applications by women onto engineering courses are exceptionally uncommon, and that’s just a single example.
What about construction? How many buildings in the city of London were constructed by a woman? What about the thousands of miles of sewage tunnels beneath or the tens of thousands of electricity cables? Women just don’t seek the same jobs men do.
Conversely- are most carers, women or men? What about beauticians or makeup stylists? When was the last time you hired a male babysitter (from outside your friends and family?)
Women do not want to be like men - and I’m pretty glad that’s the case because do you know what I like most about women? That women aren’t dudes.

I was more interested in what the Scottish government meant when it said "to live like a woman for three months". I doubt they meant to rely on male plumbers and mechanics (especially if they happen to be one) but as a woman I can't remember when I last wore a skirt, paid for a manicure, etc. What do women live like? IMO be8ng female is a mental issue, but how can anyone assess that? I assume these applicants already do that. I just wondered what you thought living like a woman meant. |

Read somewhere last week that the UK 'beauty industry' now turns over around £30 billion, which if you take out the children and the grannies means the average female must be spending going on for around £2000 pa on 'beautification'.

They all stated they would be uncomfortable with a man using the female loo. Which I find odd. As females toilets are all individually private. Unlike the gents urinals. A recent YouGov poll for PinkNews showed that by 50% to 27% Britons believe that people should be allowed to self-identify as a gender different to the one they were assigned at birth. While still a commanding lead, this figure is a slight decline since 2019 (56% to 23%) Now how about you providing evidence it is not startling assertion or just another Jock hating rant from you.
