People in the EU member state of France have been murdered in a gun rampage, the suspect a retired train conductor and French national.

My thoughts are with the victims families.

I think, broadly speaking, it does.

This is one of those tragic situations where whilst a lot of psychopaths can be screened out, it's impossible to stop every nutcase.

Other than starting a revolution, do you really think a law banning guns in the US would work?
The law is there to add to the list of charges possible and to put as many barriers in the way of possession as possible.

I am anti psychopath.

Controls *mostly* work. There's the odd thug who slips through the net but jeez, when something like this happens, awful.

The shooter farmers maintain a natural balance. They also maintain woodlands precisely so wildlife has an appropriate environment.
