What the bleedin' hell does this mean???

The feel on the street is now common swearing,illegal drugs and child exploitation, undefined gender and sexuality, music to commit crimes to, ripped clothes, warfare and libel by text, and a clear decline in moral and personal standards.
I doubt her example will live much longer. A pity.

But then, what does "dedicating" a festive carol service amount to?  And what would a non-festive carol service look or sound like?  We're in the realm of words used for their feel more than their meaning, and the "incredible legacy which deeply inspired many of us" is just the sort of thing that gets said when people want to sound portentous but haven't actually got very much to say.

The new arse on the throne is fifty years older than his mum was when she took his new job. So sheer probability says he’ll be gone and Camilla sidelined sooner rather than later and her other half doing his dad’s current job and she’ll be holding his hand

Given the crap being spewed by Ginger and his actress bride across the pond, why WOULDN’T the woman who will be taking Prince Philips job sooner rather than later say nice things about her recently departed grandmother in law who let’s be honest most of the royalist camp have fond memories of.

The legacy was the demise of the British Empire and the takeover of Britain by those we once ruled. Shouldn't leave a woman in charge though.

How old are you Morgan? I'm guessing you were born after 1953, in which case you grew up with the Queen, as I did. The Queen trooping the colour, the Queen at remembrance, the Queens birthday parade, the Queens Christmas message etc etc, the Queen was a part of life. Perhaps more for me than for a peasant like you. She was the most famous and recognised person in the world, people from all over the world visited London just to see Buckingham Palace, where according to the average tourist, the Queen of England lived.

Getting back to your question, I'm glad she was my Queen, I'm glad I was around to see most of her reign. She was a global icon and was respected around the world which is why when she died, flags around the world flew at half mast. But the Queen didn't inspire me to do anything, I'm just proud to have been British during the reign of Queen Elizabeth II. I assume you expected something in return.
