The day after i left school, and i was sitting down in the living room watching daytime tv and my dad came in, he would have done this. Slapped me around the head a few times, grabbed me from behind and kicked me down the street, saying dont come back till you get a job.
The government plans to import labour, the hard graft jobs that the above wont do. And pay them not to. Here comes the kick down the street. What politician is going to go on tv and tell these people to get a job, and that their benefits are time limited, like do it now.
Or else. No one. Getting votes is more important than the country. Heres another kicjker, we pay these people while the nurses etc go on strike. Im sure there will be an avalanche of accusations of being right wing, even though the above addresses reality. We are kaput financially.
Another thought is the families of these people will be milking it too. If ever you need evidence of the left bankrupting and destroying this country, this is it. And i include the Tories in that. This is the ingrediants of madness, the whole country, or so it seems to me is financially dependant on the government, while precious few actually do anything. And the left will be coaching people as to how to get paid.

The government has to import trained and educated people just to keep the country ticking over. It is this countries own fault for not paying enough attention to education and and training our own people. 3. This strike is apparently the first strike ever by the Nurses, so certainly not a major occurrence. 4. The government has bailed the country out. Coved 19 had to be stopped from ravaging the population. 5. Things are not quite as bad as you make out. |

Things are as bad as i make out. Britain is a degenerate society, a huge number of kids leave school unable to read and write. Kids go to school hungry and no one cares, while the adults watch good morning getting jacked. Britain is unable to rule itself, courts do, we cant deport illegal immigrants. Leave the EU etc.
The most recent Tory leaders were a complete disgrace, all of parliament is not fit for purpose, the people in it playing victim cards, get out of responsibilty free. The prime minister cannot make a decision and have it enacted because back benchers sabotage everything.
Ancient civilisations dissappear overnight, thats coming. As for the government bailing the country out, it did so by taking out a loan, which we have to pay back, but we cant. Not for a hundred years or so. The wave of covid came and went, everyone had to get it to defeat it, as in China it shows that treating it, defending from it, is a huge mistake.
I could go on forever, the truth is those we look to for governance havent got a clue.
Doing the fashionable thing is best, like wokery, sex orientation etc, while the world dies.. The one value needed for a leader is an understanding of consequences, what we do today shapes tomorrow. No one wants to know that. Criminality, as per world leaders only care about now. How many insightful world leaders are there.? There are no votes in that. Democracy doesnt work for that reason alone, and that those that vote, the very most should not be allowed to.
For example. Would you put a vote in the hands of an eighteen year old who cant read or write, watches the masked singer, and gets smashed every night.
I would not, on the basis that he hasnt an effing clue, but democracy does. And britain is like it. Doomed.

The day I left school my father said to me, take your time about getting a job son, because you will be stuck in one for the rest of your life.
When I finally joined the swollen ranks of the employed I discovered that
(a) an awful lot of folk were desperate to tell me how hard they were working
(b) a lot of jobs either did not need to be done or could be done in a fraction of the time

I think piglet has a point.
The Automotive Parts factory that employed me from 2017 to 2020 to do pretty much all the IT on their production lines employed about 500 people, half of them agency temps. Of those, over half were Eastern Europeans imported by an agency who were given office facilities onsite, the rest came through similar agencies here.
When I first started rolling out new software and system upgrades I hit a problem The user instructions were written. I was asked to cut back on the words and produce pictorial guides instead.
Chatting about that demand from Production Management with my boss, I asked if this was because the high proportion of foreign workers meant reading English was a problem
He said that was one part of the problem but a much bigger one was that half the workforce recruited locally via these agencies were actually illiterate and had left school that way.

A low grade job offer from a typical arsehole of a firm pretty much told the applicant, you will never be allowed to work in a microbiology lab unless you have worked in a microbiology lab. They were in the microbiology industry. It's like the dodo putting a sign around its neck saying please shoot me. |
