How do know he is not capable of such aggression at some time in the future? Have you ever even seriously considered kicking a girl friend, or any girl or anyone else for that matter? IMO such serious aggression indicates a seriously damaged emotional system, something that cannot be easily changed. How do you know whether you or I are capable of such aggression at some time in the future? Thanks for your irrelevant question and your opinion. I dare say your opinion would have differed if it was a Blairite MP, but that's just MY opinion. Well I have no such experience or even thoughts about it in the past to go on. Which is why I posed my question. My "irrelevant question" must have been too deep for you, I'll try to bear that in mind in future. No my opinion is definitely not based upon any form of political bias. My opinion is based upon My many years of educational training, research and over twenty years of professional experience working in the areas of the human mind / condition. Nevertheless, it is only an opinion, so I'm not sure why you have got so hot around the collar over it.

If McMurdock is guilty of misleading the public, then my god, Starmer and his so called 'top team' should be off to the tower.

Fair enough. Let's see what they think. Tinculin , Pacifico et al - is this thread meant to be shut down? I'm OK with it. The story is in the public domain now and is being reported across multiple media titles, so I dont see what shutting down discussion here would achieve.

Sounds like the ideal guy to become Reforms Law and Order spokesman. Nomworse than a chancellor who lies about her job record yet stays in the job after demanding others be sacked for it.

I thought wrongly that a Criminal Conviction would prevent a person from becoming an MP it does not, his Conviction as a Juvenile is well spent 18 months after his conviction as I understand it he does not have to disclose his Conviction No, any old criminal can become an MP. The only thing stopping you is a current prison sentence and even then short ones don't unless your electorate jump through a load of hoops

I believe we have to allow prior criminals the ability to become MP’s, otherwise we run the risk of a government attempting to charging their political rivals with crimes to prevent them from obtaining office.
I’d go further and say even prisoners should be able to stand for office, for the exact same reason.

If McMurdock is guilty of misleading the public, then my god, Starmer and his so called 'top team' should be off to the tower. Only if you believe all the lies, insinuation and politically motivated accusations that are flying around.
