Lefty lawyers succeeded in stopping criminals including rapists and killers from being deported to Jamaica because 23 serious crooks submitted last-minute appeals – including human rights claims – which led to them avoiding removal. Only 13 criminals from an original list of 57 were on board a Home Office charter plane which took off from Stansted Airport in Essex earlier this week. The 23 serious criminals who avoided having to leave included someone convicted of murder in 2003 after shooting a man six times who was taken off the plane after a last-minute appeal. Others who failed to be removed included two rapists, two convicted of attempted murder and others convicted of supplying Class A drugs and possessing firearms.....

The law can be a utter ass at times .and what human rights law are you referring to Well you can pick and choose all sorts, but in this particular case, the council for the defence paid for at public expense of course, argued that under article 8 of Blairs Human Rights Act... ... to deport him would deprive his children of a father. How sick is that? He's a convicted paedophile who raped his own daughter and two of her friends, and is considered to be a danger to children, and the Human Rights Act stopped him being deported. If that's not an advert for repealing Blairs HRA I don't know what is. It's probably not an advert for repealing the HRA, but it could well be a signal that we need to review the competency of those handing down decisions in the First-Tier Immigration Tribunal.
As you point out above:
Beggars belief, indeed.

And the sad thing is, everyone knows it's wrong, but nothing will change. Well not in the next five years anyway.

Jonksy! What are you doing up at this hour? Doofus watching Red... Yes fair enough, I understand. Christ he tests me, but it pisses me off when people gang up on him. He has in the past explained why he has a poor grasp of English. I don't agree with his politcs, but I don't like it when someone is constantly picked on either. I'll call him a pillock occasionally, but not constantly. It gets boring.

A more radical but also much more effective remedy would be to declare asylum seekers, foreign criminals, illegal aliens and other foreign supplicants to be in a special category which falls outside the the UK's jurisdiction for the purpose of the HRA. That would set the cat amongst the legal pigeons.

Think you got your hatred .blinkers on protocols The European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR) is an international treaty between the States of the Council of Europe. The United Kingdom was one of the States that drafted the ECHR and was one of the first States to ratify it in 1951. The Convention came into force in 1953. The current version of the Convention incorporates the amendments made by Protocols No. 11, 14 and 15, in 1998, 2010 and 2021 respectively So the Only act Mr blair amended was poetical number 11 nothing's to do with number 8 And I asked posters to stop calling you names. Makes me wonder who the pillock is... Thank you for your help. I gave you my link to the Government source.

EDIT: Also, how does one semi-literate liar manage to post all day and night?

Like i said the law can be a ass at times And it wasnt Blair human act rights it been a part of our statue law since 1956 No it hasn't, doofus. The operative law is the Human Rights Act 1998, which came into operation in October 2000.

This particular peice of foreign scum used Article 8 of Blairs 1998 Human Rights Act to fight deportation, and thanks to socialist lawyers like Starmer, this piece of foreign criminal scum is not the first, and wont be the last to use stupid 'Human Rights' law to evade deportation. Think you got your hatred .blinkers on protocols The European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR) is an international treaty between the States of the Council of Europe.
