A paedophile convicted of sexually assaulting his stepdaughter has been allowed to remain in the UK as deporting him would breach his right to a “family life”. The man, who is in his early 50s and is from the Democratic Republic of Congo, was jailed for three years in 2020 for “appalling” offences including sexual penetration and sexual assault against his stepdaughter and two other young girls in the family. Because of the severity of his offences, he was ordered to be deported back to his African homeland. However, he successfully appealed against the sanction, with an immigration judge ruling deportation would “negatively impact” the “wellbeing” of his wife and three biological children, whom the sexual offences were not committed against. The decision was made despite the tribunal accepting that the man “continues to pose a risk to the community, in particular children”. It would mean he would rejoin the household, including the stepdaughter he was convicted of assaulting. www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2024/11/17/paedophile-echr-asylum-seeker-deported-glasgow-scotland/He arrived in this country illegally and was denied asylum. But thanks to insane 'human rights law' which protects criminals, this foreign paedophile cannot be deported.

The law can be a utter ass at times .and what human rights law are you referring to Well you can pick and choose all sorts, but in this particular case, the council for the defence paid for at public expense of course, argued that under article 8 of Blairs Human Rights Act... ... to deport him would deprive his children of a father. How sick is that? He's a convicted paedophile who raped his own daughter and two of her friends, and is considered to be a danger to children, and the Human Rights Act stopped him being deported. If that's not an advert for repealing Blairs HRA I don't know what is.

Think you got your hatred .blinkers on protocols The European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR) is an international treaty between the States of the Council of Europe. The United Kingdom was one of the States that drafted the ECHR and was one of the first States to ratify it in 1951. The Convention came into force in 1953. The current version of the Convention incorporates the amendments made by Protocols No. 11, 14 and 15, in 1998, 2010 and 2021 respectively So the Only act Mr blair amended was poetical number 11 nothing's to do with number 8
