Well my world is more complex than yours. A clue. If you have too many sausages in the freezer you can throw them out or you can stop buying more until you've used some. Your world may be more complex than mine, in fact I'd be surprised if it wasn't. I have, or perhaps I should say, we have an uncomplicated life. But I can assure you it hasn't always been that way. Sausages... I think I may need another clue...

LOL well done. It's always easier to ignore awkward facts. The link was nothing to do with ability to home migrants. As regards people per square mile. I have said on here at least a dozen times that I think the country is over populated. Sadly you are unable to get beyond that first sentence to discuss detail. Hence all you can do is moan. ZG you're not making much sense old chap. You claim the country is overpopulated and the UK should have a population of c60 million, and on both counts I agree. But you don't want to stop immigration!

Stretching the analogy to breaking point, surely you'll also have to make sure that those remaining refrain from popping out little chipolatas otherwise numbers will soon be out of control again. Well put Dan. Yes we have to hope that generation by generation the new comers reduce the number of offspring they have. History suggests wealth and security have this effect.

We can reduce our population by deporting people (Very difficult) or stop importing more people and let time and an aging population have its natural effect. Without immigration our population is shrinking, so stop immigration and.......

It's not difficult to deport people, I accept the government pretend it's difficult because of the ECHR the ECtHR and Blairs HRA. This bastard legislation is used very successfully to protect criminals. The thing is, the government could ignore, withdraw from, or repeal any legislation it chooses to because the government make the rules. The problem is, the government have no balls. Since Jan 2020 the British government have been in a unique position in Europe, they are sovereign and independent from the EU. Yet the pro EU civil service and political class have all but ignored Brexit, this and previous governments have essentially accepted migrants from the EU both legal and illegal because they don't want to offend Brussels. I suspect over the next five years people will become very pissed off with this left wing minority appeasing socialist government, and I don't think the Tories are going to cut it. I think by 2029 largely due to immigration this government will have pushed people to vote Reform UK. You will of course scoff, but personally I don't think Starmer will let us down.

Pleeeease. Your confusing Illegal and legal again. You see that's why we can never discuss it. The ECHR are not involved with our legal immigration. There are an estimated 387,000 once illegal migrants living in the UK, so deporting every single one would do very little to lower our population. We need to stop legal immigration, all those people from overseas we offer jobs to, those ones. That's not to say illegal migration is not an issue, but solving it is not going to reduce the population down to 60 million.

And for the record there is no such thing as 'illegal immigration', they are criminals not immigrants. However. Criminal immigration should and could be stopped overnight, sadly the political will is not there. As for legal immigration, it should be completely stopped for five years. We should have a rigidly enforced moratorium to establish exactly who is in this country because at the moment the government don't know, and that's political incompetence.

Yes you were Red, grow a pair and take the hit. You talked of the ECHR. The European court of human rights has nothing to do with legal immigration. I refuse to discuss this further with you unless we can firmly agree we are talking only about legal migration. and not suddenly throw dinghies back in.

The ECHR is the Convention not the court. The Court is the ECtHR. I accept lefties don't know the bloody difference.

History also suggests that it takes between 50 to 70 years once the chipolata production rate falls to replacement level before the population in question stops rising and, eventually, begins to gently decline.
Native chipolatas reached maximum production rate in the early 70s and successive censuses confirm their numbers are declining year by year. Number of foreign chipolatas are still growing strongly (the annual schools census confirms this) and it is for their benefit that additional infrastructure in the form of housing, schools, hospitals, roads, railways, sewers, power stations, waterworks, is required. If not for their presence infrastructure creation in Britain would be limited to replacing the worn-out and the no-longer fashionable.
It's quite astonishing how few people recognise this simple truth.
