Starmer ‘fled like a rat’ as angry farmers beseiged Welsh Labour conference. The prime minister was accused of escaping through a back door to avoid scores of angry farmers protesting outside the Welsh Labour conference in Llandudno www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/starmer-budget-family-farm-tax-b2648253.htmlThis is in stark contrast to events at the Conservative conference last February which was also in Llandudno, at that time Sunak not only addressed Welsh farmers from the conference, but he went outside to meet them. Starmer is a weasel of a socialist.

Labour as per usual cannot be trusted, once that land is gone its gone for good you will to have import more food from outside of the UK , we were talking about this in the Pub on Thursday most of the locals are Farmers part time and have other work during the day, commercial fishermen, builders, etc They said what Labour are doing with the Farmers in the UK is sheer stupidity and that it would not happen here in the ROI, the Farmers big and small would not stand for it and the Politicians know it

Government policy just doesn't make sense.

Due to the floods in Spain it will disrupt their crops for at least a year which means prices will go up, Portugal probably the same , Labour just do not get it and perhaps don't care

I am concerned for the future of my family and friends back in England under Labour

The place for solar panels is on rooftops. If they want to put solar panels on my roofs and pay me, they're welcome to, but don't put solar panels on farmland, farmland is for growing food and we cannot eat solar panels. Local produce has a lower carbon footprint than imports. If they're serious about the environment they need to start using their brains properly rather than just knee jerking emotionally.

We are considering Solar Panels for our house early next year, quite popular in the Rural areas PS we can over two thousand Euro Grant from the Irish Government if we do
