He avoided directly criticising Trump
There's nothing wrong with formulating a peace deal with Vladimir Putin, that's what Trump seems to want to do. I don't think Trump is wrong to do that and I don't think UK troops or any NATO troops should ever end up in Ukraine

Cant see any scenario where British troops would be deployed in Ukraine without the full support and involvement of NATO . We just haven't got the military to go it alone not to mention the massive escalation of the war that would do exactly what daft as a brush Johnson says he would be trying to prevent . |

We will have to wait and see what trump does though. I can vouch that we have SAS forces in Ukraine and so do the USA. That happens in any skirmish... |

The war will continue regardless of what the USA or NATO decides, if Russia does not withdraw completely from all Ukrainian territory. Trump must know that, he must give up the notion he decides.
