If Muslims feel less welcome then perhaps they should look to their own actions.
In any case, Islam is a brutal, backward ideology that is incompatible with Western values.
It should not be welcomed and there is a good argument that it should be proscribed altogether.

A couple of weeks ago I had the misfortune to need a couple of longish taxi rides.
Both drivers were Muslims, because they told me so.
Both drivers took the opportunity to tell me that 15,000 children had been murdered by Israel during the current war, which the Gazan government started in Oct 2023.
All I wanted was the transport and to pay and get home.
I got a free lecture as well. Taxi drivers are known for having an opinion, but this was something else. Ugh.

Yes, I used the wrong word, I meant to use the word secular.
