Yes but none of them leave...every time a Republican wins they all threaten it but never follow through.

I hear a rumour that Trump has already had a private chat with the Mexican leadership and it looks like Mexico is already taking steps to block the 'caravans'
He isn't even in office yet

Dubdrifter wishes you all the best
Hi ALL … Yes, sadly I am leaving this Forum … and will be moving my key thread discussions and the best posts to another space … when I get reorganised - which will take time.
I’ve petitioned hard to keep this Forum and our old UK one OPEN - to ALL on the Internet …. but dark forces have now shut those options down …. and the recent removal of ALL the World View discussions into a private enclosure was the final straw.
Yes, the critical Ukraine War discussions that got our last Forum shut down … has been made MEMBERS ONLY … to view and discuss.
Maybe the war-mongers didn’t like to hear ‘peace suggestions’??
I didn’t go online to potentially discuss EVERYTHING … in a private members only enclosure of only 150 esteemed Members … our POV deserve a World audience … especially discussing world issues.
My petition to change this failed and got no support from Members here … so … it’s best to find Open Minded people who believe in Free Speech elsewhere. Adios!
It has been a REAL pleasure talking to most of you … you know who you are!😀 … see you all again … sometime.

You didn't read your link did you? A quick search till you found a headline that you thought was Trump getting Mexico to pay for the wall. If you'd bothered to read it you would see that it was from July 2022 and 'open borders' Biden was responsible for it.

I did read the link trump was the one who negotiated with Mexico for them to pay thier share when he first became the president of the USA. Biden started to demolish the wall idea along with the US economy when he moved into the white house. Imigrant numbers increased by 10 million during his watch

The wall you also claim was never built? The tangled dishonesty is a like a forest... Why not make some substantial criticism? This is very limp

This is very limp The 'big beautiful wall from coast to coast''? How's that going? Last I heard about 75 miles of new wall was added during Trump's presidency. Mexico didn't pay a single cent towards it.

Has he got them to agree to pay for the wall yet? The wall you also claim was never built? The tangled dishonesty is a like a forest... Why not make some substantial criticism? This is very limp Before Trump took office, there were 654 miles (just over 1,000km) of barrier along the southern border - made up of 354 miles of barricades to stop pedestrians and 300 miles of anti-vehicle fencing. Now, according to US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) in its 6 October status report, the southern border has 669 miles of "primary barrier" - the first structure people heading from Mexico to the US will encounter - and 65 miles of "secondary barrier" - which usually runs behind the primary structure as a further obstacle. This means that in areas where no barricades existed before, they have built 15 miles of new, primary barrier or "border wall system", as it is called by CBP. About a further 350 miles of barrier has been built, according to CBP, made up of replacement structures and some new secondary barrier. More is planned, too, with 378 miles of new and replacement barrier either under construction or in the "pre-construction phase". Less than half of this will be in locations where no barriers currently exist, according to CBP.

How's that going? Last I heard about 75 miles of new wall was added during Trump's presidency. Mexico didn't pay a single cent towards it. He didn't have supreme power to do exactly what he wanted. Adults understand this and catergorise such statements as intent. So, unless you feel he didn't try, your criticism is very limp Btw Jonksie has a point - Mexico is paying right now and Donald Trump is extracting those payments

America needs immigrant labour in the construction, agriculture and housing industries. Economists are worried about Trump's plan to end the TPSD (temporary protected status) that allows workers from selected countries in to work. If Trump's plans for immigration target undocumented and temporary workers as well as immigrants who are just arriving, it is thought that this will result in a net lost of $1.1 Trillion of GDP.
