Five men have been jailed for a total of almost 24 years for running a large-scale people smuggling ring bringing Kurdish migrants into the UK hidden in the back of lorries.
Manchester Crown Court heard how Tarik Namik, aged 45 and from Oldham, headed up the organised crime group who became subject of a National Crime Agency investigation in 2017.
Tarik Namik from Oldham, lol of course he is.
Hajar Ahmed from Manchester, lol of course he is.
Soran Saliy from Stoke, lol of course he is.
Habil Gider from Stoke, lol of course he is.
Hardi Alizada from Nottingham, lol of course he is.
Tarik Namik the ringleader, from Oldham lol, wasn't jailed btw. He didn't bother showing up at court. He is probably in the EU or back in Kurdistan, where he
is from.
Can you believe foreign criminals who are charged with such serious crimes are given bail rather than held on remand. My only surprise is they didn't all bugger of to France and disappear into a borderless Europe. We are a soft global laughing stock, is it any surprise that every
criminal 'poor downtrodden refugee', wants to come to the UK.
