The budget grab of family farms is proving a disaster, demos being planned in London and old farmers contemplating suicide before the proposed grab occurs so their families can carry on feeding us all.
Water companies offload their solid treated human waste to farmers who spread it on fields which they now plan to refuse to take so where will that be disposed of,treat people like **** and you’ll get it back. From the telegraph

Anyone else remember the Countryside Alliance demo from 20 odd years ago?
Didn't end well as I recall.
The was also the result of a Labour government attacking rural economies.
Labour never learns.

Sometimes you can't help wondering if people get what they deserve, I was a fan of countryfile, then all of a sudden it started to turn into a lefty promoting diverse woke nonsense programme, needless to say I stopped watching, the turning point when they accused the countryside of being racist FFS
I wonder what the tone of countryfile will be like now.

From the telegraph I've not been following the US Presidential Election too closely, but from what I gather it's a pity we're not a bit closer to Puerto Rico, as it sounds like it would have been an ideal dumping ground if our Farmers are uncooperative..
