On the News the Speaker of the House Hoyle has addressed the House to all Members not to say anything in the House about the Southport Attack in order not to interfere with the suspects Trial
PS
The Trial is set for January 2025

I don't think asking certain questions or indeed the answers in 12 months will mean as much to most people .

I would have thought they might have considered getting it heard before Christmas, but seeing as the Courts are so busy and backed up January is probably the earliest they can fit it in, some charged with serious charges Murder etc have been kept in Custody for far longer up to a year waiting to be tried. However bearing in mind the Investigation is still on going and both sides the Crown and his Defence Team have to prepare their case

I live pretty close to where it happened, and we all knew the attempt to brush his identity off as somebody "from Cardiff" was bollocks to try to deflect from his obvious motives ie kill whitey or terrorism.
That is why it kicked off, everybody local had seen WhatsApps pics (or heard about the pics) of him being arrested by the police... so that attempt to mislead the public by the police just got everybody VERY ANGRY.

I suppose Hoyle is thinking the Commons floor is just about the only place they could comment without fear of retribution from the court, Parliamentary privilege etc...
