The Commons Speaker has hit out at Rachel Reeves for not informing MPs of a key announcement ahead of the budget. Sir Lindsay Hoyle said it was "totally unacceptable" that the chancellor confirmed her intention to change the government's fiscal rules to the media and not to parliament first - as is laid down in the ministerial code. He was not a happy bunny and very forceful

She'll be gone in about two weeks tops.

Oh I don't think so. Starmer is totally behind her, earlier he was waxing lyrical about this being the first ever budget given by a female chancellor, I thought he was going to burst into tears ffs. I don't know how much power the speaker has over these things, but I'm guessing she's safe.

Now there is going to be a inevitable by-election with Amesbury after his sucker-punch on a constituent, Labour know they are in BIG trouble already.
Labour MPs are not happy with Reeves or Starmer, they are becoming increasingly unpopular with the general public, it's not what they were expecting winning the GE, they thought they were going to be hailed the hero's, now they are realising they are becoming even more unpopular than the Tories.
Amesbury is a example of how he can't handle the public backlash over the cutting of pensioners winter fuel allowance, he's one of many more Labour MPs who are getting pissed off with taking flak from the general public over Starmer/Reeves onslaught of the ageing population namely pensioners.

I'm not so sure, I think Starmer would really have to be forced to get rid of Reeves, he has been quite vocal about praising her, 'a female chancellor' he's painted himself into a corner. Even with the speakers scathing remarks, I think Starmer will stand by her. As for Rocky Amesbury, well there will obviously be a by election in a few weeks in which Labour will lose. But it wont affect Labours huge majority and tbh behind the scenes I'm sure Starmers inner circle are unconcerned. They are five minutes into a five year government.

Naturally Starmer The Pensioner Harmer will bluster that this wasn't a 'key budget fact'

Well you say there will be a by election but what exactly have I missed I know the man himself has gone on record to demand five year prison sentences for violent street brawlers (Thank You, Guido Fawkes) but until he is dragged before a hanging judge and sent down (hopefully in the same cell block as a bunch of 2TK's 'racists') he can't be thrown out of parliament and unless he does down for at least six Nigel's supporters have no right to demand a recall petition. The loss will not harm Labour's majority, but will almost certainly increase Farage's party representation by 20%

The loss will not harm Labour's majority, but will almost certainly increase Farage's party representation by 20% I don't think, given the damning CCTV evidence, that Amesbury will be an MP for much longer, and I think he knows it.
