Gross misconduct? For saving his colleagues lives? Surprised anyone wants to do the job. Bosses will throw you under the bus to save their own skins without a thought. After dropping him in it by not protecting his identity, and allowing the charge to be brought in the first place. If this is done it is to appease the family and criminals, absolutely despicable. Sack the bosses! Met Police marksman Martyn Blake 'likely to face gross misconduct charges' for shooting dead Chris Kaba despite being cleared of murder..... www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-13988031/chris-kaba-police-officer-misconduct-dismissed-charges.html This is appalling, it's so wrong, Martyn Blake's actions have been vindicated by a jury in the high court. For Christs sake that should be enough. This government are an absolute embarrassment. This is going to do a lot for police moral recruitment and retention. How to make yourself look like a colered prick....

Surely that can be outed in court by the prosecution barrister that it is a lie or at least questionable that he is a loving man based on the exclusion order as it is misrepresenting the truth. On Khan would love to criticise him yet he probably didn't know about his crime status. Would love someone to ask him now? Yes I agree, and perhaps Martyn Blakes council did question any testimony that said Kaba was a 'loving family man', but it doesn't alter the fact that is was a lie and Kaba's council would have known it was a lie but still used it in his defence. On your second point, several high profile lefties predictably supported the 'Justice for Chris Kaba' campaign, however since Kaba has been outed as a dangerous criminal with many firearms and drugs offences going back many years, his supporters seem to have gone quiet.

I agree but the problem is this lefty woke virtual signalling has now become ingrained in all the facets of our society...
EDIT...The authorities can keep the identity of an underage scroat from being announced but a police officer doing what he is paid to do they cannot withold his ID...The whole debarkle is a political whitewash..

The tactic is obvious. He wants a conviction for something in order to deter other police officers from doing their job when comes to black men.

If i were a black man i might think that a legal system in which black people were immune from defensive intervention could serve as the basis for working society Are some of these people idiots or is this a 'cultural misunderstanding'?

If this Kaba was white this wouldn't have even got to first base, no case to answer for, because he was black we have the BLM ready to jump on the racist bandwagon, no surprise Corbyn was calling it a racist incident ... typical lefty stoking the racist fire, has anyone accused the cop of being far right, we know how the script goes now.

It was the Judge that allowed the Officer to be named his/her decision if I recall correctly the Decision to charge was the CPS's decision, if Caba had been tried and convicted of shooting another set of thugs he would have probably been banged up and would still be alive.
