A Belgian killer who lived in the UK since the age of eight has avoided deportation after serving a 12-year jail term for a gangland killing because blundering Home Office officials made a series of mistakes in dealing with his case.
William George, 27, was convicted of manslaughter for his part in what the Court of Appeal described as the 'horrifying gang murder' of Abdul Hafidah in 2016.
On November 8, 2018, then Home Secretary Sajid Javid ordered that George, who moved to the UK with his family in 2004, should be returned to Belgium after completing his prison sentence on 'imperative grounds of public security'.

However, George successfully overturned this decision and the Court of Appeal has rejected attempts by the Home Office to continue with the deportation.
The Court of Appeal blasted the Home Office for a succession procedural failures in dealing with the case, describing their actions as 'unimpressive'.
The court warned: 'It is as important for the Secretary of State to observe procedural rules as it is for claimants.'
The three judges were especially critical of attempts by the Home Office to rely on a legal argument that they had earlier abandoned in a lower court.

Going off on slight tangent, I just listened to something about Elon Musk, apparently he is anti woke and hires people based on meritocracy, not diversity.. maybe that's the reason he is so successful? However. Because of this the Californian authorities have restricted the number of launches SpaceX is allowed, so Musk is suing the California authorities for political discrimination. Well done Elon Musk, go get em. |

Five officers from Greater Manchester Police (GMP) have been suspended and two have been placed on restricted duties after a "deeply concerning" report was made, the force said.
A statement from GMP said it had a "zero tolerance" approach to any discriminatory behaviour.
The Independent Office for Police Conduct said it had also begun an investigation after the force referred the matter, and would "ensure any discriminatory behaviour is dealt with appropriately"

Pretty emotional clip where the guy is close to tears talking about how his young daughter and her boyfriend was stabbed to death 38 fucking times by a Middle Eastern migrant , who had previous convictions. He was asking why these people are being allowed into germany in the first place. The anger against migration from third world hell holes seems to be rising across the whole of Europe. |
