I thought this was very interesting. It not only shows what a brilliant tactician Nelson was, but also how bloody, how toe to toe a naval battle was in those days, the type of injury and number of casualties was horrendous. Most people are probably of the opinion that Trafalgar was Nelsons defining or most important battle, but if Napoleon had succeeded in Egypt it would have had serious consequences for Great Britain and the Empire.
This will 'offend' lefties, but in those days Great Britain really did rule the waves. Well worth a watch if you have half an hour...
