Yes. His bestie is berating me . the reason I ask is ive been on forums with mr Benn aka Steve srb , for something like 16 years across the interwebby , and he is fucking infamous for flouncing off forums . He has done it every forum ive ever been on with him , and normally he comes back on in a week or so time apologising for flouncing. Then does it again a few months later. He has done it more times than ive had hot fucking dinners. its as sure as night follows day. Nothing wrong with a good theatrical flounce...

These are the kind of people planet Zany wants houses built for: Rania Issa and Roshdi Basheer Ali have been living with their children, aged 13, 12, nine and two, in the cramped room in Brent for a year and eight months. The working age Dad can't work and is on universal credit, the Sudanese Mum & Dad barely speak English. They pop out four kids, get free healthcare, free education and now this entitled mob want sufficient accomodation to live in. 1) Why did they move to the UK? (because there are plenty of planet Zany's orbiting our society perhaps?) 2) Why did they have four kids and expect another country's public taxes to raise them? 3) Do they think that shouting the loudest about their conditions enables them to jump the que when parents of children are grafting away living with their in-laws? 4) Our immigration system is a fucking joke allowing freeloaders into the country like this. 5) No way would I trust this government to build houses when it is the likes of people like this who reap the benefits of a system they contribute nothing towards. They are parasites. www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/home-news/housing-flat-rent-overcrowding-family-b2641122.html#comments-area

That changed years back when there were more 700+k houses than people wanting them. Zoom in on any village on Google and see how many properties appear behind existing ones, how many new closes squeeze between houses on the high st. No it didn’t . Affordable houses are built on larger building sites not pockets of land around farms . I'm going to give you this Bentley, its to grey and area for me to claim its 100% true and it doesn't effect the overall point about the lack of land allocated to building causing the price to be higher than it should. I have limited time and I have a second set of posters asking my opinion on immigration and how Would deal with that issue related to housing. Then the usual bollox post insults filling in the gaps. So I agree a large number of affordable homes are in housing estates and are on larger plots.

All that where when stuff aside. The argument remains that we could build on the green belt because not all of it is green. And we desperately need houses. As an aside, how many of you would be upset to see the property you bought for 18k and is now worth 300k reduced back down to 180k as supply starts to equal demand. Ah the leftie renters wet dream . I guess so. Everyones dream to be able to own their own home according to that Leftie Thatcher. The righties wet dream is that they worked hard and got rich, but truth is they did everyday jobs and the house they lived in got rich.

Apologise? You stated the price of land is irrelevant. You stated shortage of skilled trades and a shortage of materials. The price of land is an irrelevance." Planning regulation effects the price of land and is not irrelevant. Building LAND in France is cheaper than building LAND in the UK because there is more available. Trade and material costs are irrelevant to that fact. If you cannot get planning permission how does the price of land matter?. As it is the land price makes up around 33% of the total cost of building a house - but then you still need trained workers (in short supply) and supplies (again in short supply). Because the ones that do get planning are the ones that matter and the price of those is higher because of limited supply. If you can't get it by now then best I leave you to your dreams

I certainly didn't invite them in. But that aside I'm looking for something a bit deeper than lets find a bad immigrant and use the word 'them' to imply they are representative. Hence I ignore Buccaneer.

Not quite. Apparently it's our fault because we used the word "them". Lol Don't forget, Planet Zany is probably signed up with the pronoun police, so pick your pronouns carefully.

Re read my posts, they answer all these points endlessly in detail and I'm not wasting anymore time repeating them for you not to read. Off out now to play mini golf, lunch and then going to see Circus Soleil, so wont be on anymore today I think. As far as i'm aware, you have never answered this question directly. I'm going for a run around the block in the overcast before it turns into a downpour So, waded through all the childish crud and back to your point. In direct answer to the question 'Would I insist immigration is stopped before solving the existing housing crises' No I would not. I see no reason to hold our young people to ransom and make the rich richer in order to stop immigration. Nor do I see that working. Why would the rich land owners of this country want demand to fall? Then you have the old who like the fact their home is worth 10 times what they paid for it. They're not keen on reducing the price of land either. No, stopping immigration has to be dealt with by public protest or vote, it cannot be dealt with by hurting the poor. Then you have all the lies and misinformation, the idea that migrants are a drain on our economy needs to be dismissed because when we stop them coming we will see that they do. We will see that our GDP only grows because we keep increasing the population and as soon as we stop it we will see the costs of looking after our aging population continue to rise but the tax to pay for that shrink. We will see the costs of nurses carers etc rise but the tax pot shrink. Now I still support cutting immigration despite knowing this, but the people need to be told of the consequences rather than just told all will be better.
