It will be far more disastrous than Liz Truss, yet we wont have all the theatricals, and over the top reacting like we did with hers. Liz Truss would have aimed at making the rich richer, that's Tory policy. It looks like Starmer is saying, its time we, the UK, learnt in financial terms, to stand on our own two feet. When the dust settles everyone will be working within a settled economy, and that will be the safest bet all round.

If it is bad as expected I think there will be a very bad reaction to say the least I don't think Labour are bothered about a bad reaction, in-fact I imagine it's expected. The attitude from number 10 will be... ... batten down the hatches and ignore criticism, we've got five years, laugh out loud.I wonder how many deluded lefties now regret voting for this freebie grabbing pensioner bashing anti British socialist one term government. You have obviously written one too many fictional posts.

You think he's going to cancel welfare packages to working age benefits scroungers , stop public sector gold plated pensions, reduce government spending by 50% and make them all ''stand on their own two feet''? In your dreams The private sector taxpayer already funds all the above - all that will happen is that the private sector taxpayer will be further screwed and scroungers and the public sector get off Scot free with even more money thrust into their greedy , thoroughly undeserving hands

Um, perhaps you'd like to review how a vast number of small businesses in the UK are run. We take minimum salary for ourselves, and when times are good we are lucky to earn a dividend on our hard work. The rest of the time, we pay everyone else first and ourselves last. Why would anyone want to run a small business if the potential payout when times are good is taken by the government. These are the businesses that keep GB afloat.
You're not 'working people', 2 Tier Keir tells landlords and shareholders as he prepares for his tax grab ahead of next week's Budget...... Landlords and shareholders face being hit with tax rises at next week's budget after sir Freebie Starmer suggested they are not 'working people'. The PM fuelled alarm at the looming raids by Rachel Reeves as he suggested those with assets will by targeted by Labour. The Chancellor is expected to impose the biggest tax hikes in three decades next Wednesday, raising around £35billion extra to take the burden on Brits to a record high. But 2T Keir has been under pressure to set out what a 'working person' is after Labour's manifesto said they would be shielded from increases. He has already ruled out putting up rates of income tax, employee National Insurance and VAT, leaving Ms Reeves scrambling to target areas such as capital gains and inheritance tax for revenue. In an interview with Sky News at the Commonwealth summit in Samoa, Sir Keir said a working person is somebody who 'goes out and earns their living, usually paid in a sort of monthly cheque' but they did not have the ability to 'write a cheque to get out of difficulties'. And when asked if this would include people who get all or part of their income from assets, he said: 'Well, they wouldn't come within my definition.'..... www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-13999509/working-people-Keir-Starmer-landlords-Budget.html

As the true one guilty of trolling strikes again ^^^. Governments along with the excessively rich and powerful largely decide on how many jobs that will be available. "screwed and scrounger" minded troll posters just whinge. The "private sector" taxpayers take their money out of the economy, the more they take out the more tax they pay. Obvious really.

I really don't know where to start on the utter commie BS you've just posted Governments have NO MONEY OF THEIR OWN to spend All they have is the taxed money CREATED by the private sector - nothing else The private sector CREATES the money for governments to waste on leeches like scroungers , the public sector and for some useful public spending on road infrastructure and basic education etc - the private sector and private sector workers are givers they do not take out. The public sector and its workers create nothing and contributes nothing to the national financial pot. Any non commie with a working brain cell understands this
