A mod who's opening reply is whataboutism, off topic. Farage also broke the law over offering paid tours of parliament, so it's not that he's used to keeping to the rules. The only reason he has a following is because a lot of people hate immigrants. He has no morals himself and doesn't care. Wanting immigration control isn't hate. Illegal immigration drowns people. Legal immigration is far above what we can actually cope with. It's not that "immigrants" = bad, it's that there are problems with the system and we have to grasp a nettle in order to fix it. I've been called racist many a time simply for wanting migration controls. I don't want to come out of the convention on Human Rights although we should look at our own 1998 act and see if loopholes exist in it, that aren't needed under the convention as too many people have died because of illegal immigration and we need to stop the deaths. I agree with you, I want migration controlled too, and I agree that the current asylum process is not fit for purpose. I don't think you're racist at all, I've never seen you post anything vaguely racist. There are plenty on this forum who are though. Leaving the ECHR would be a disaster for Northern Ireland, there's no getting away from that.

I'm not that bothered about Northern Ireland specifically, I'm more bothered about everyone's human rights.

I'm not that bothered about Northern Ireland specifically No, and this was an issue in the referendum. Unfortunately NI got screwed over, Boris sold them down the river with a pack of lies, but the English people didn't care.

What is mind blowing, we spend tens of millions tracking and setting up drugs trafficking organizations, we've got National Crime Agency who have dedicated officers who track down and bring down drugs gangs, yet we have people traffickers who just allowed to go about their daily business, taking money off migrants to illegal transport them to the UK, if it was a dinghy full of drugs they would be apprehended and sent to prison for drug trafficking .... what's going on?

But "everyone" is more important than "some". Take away "everyone's" human rights and "some" then risk abuse.

Victoria Thomas Bowen has pleaded guilty at Westminster Magistrates’ Court to assault by beating and criminal damage. Splendid. Now let's see whether two-tier justice is applied or whether she actually gets an appropriate sentence.

Splendid. Now let's see whether two-tier justice is applied or whether she actually gets an appropriate sentence. What "two-tier justice" are you referring to? Whereby the government direct the 'independent' judiciary how to go about their business and suggest that sentences should be lengthy in specific circumstances.
