Snippit: "Yet while the public is divided, it appears to be a different story for mainstream journalists. In multiple different countries across the West, they tend to hew to the same themes and offer identical analyses. They tend to be globalist in orientation and ‘progressive’ in outlook. This means that even if they are from different national cultures with different political systems and histories, they are often singing from the same hymn sheet – a hymn sheet that is at odds with millions of their compatriots."
I usually refer to it as the hive mind. At least we still have a few little voices left... for now.

yep.Good article. This is the sort of thing I was talking about regarding issues such as the Ukraine war. We are told , universally , who to hate , who to support , and the mainstream media seem to be singing off the same sheet no matter which "western" country the news is coming from. int that the truth.

Constant criticism of the "Mainstream Media" including theories that the MSM are out to brainwash us, is akin to a conspiracy theory.
The so called "Main Stream Media" consists of newspapers which are Right wing Populist - Right Wing - Moderate Right Wing - Liberal - Moderate Left - Left and Far Left.
Its your choice which newspaper you either read online or buy, and if like me you want to try and see all sides of an argument, you will see what "The Others" or "The Opposing Side" is saying, or look for evidence, or do some research.
Whether you like it or not, we live in an open society, we have a free press, you can criticise the government, you can protest, you have no need to fear The Thought Police coming in the night to take you away for questioning.
I became extremely angry in the early days of the Ukraine crisis, due to the lies and misinfomation not only been put out, but been swallowed by people in this country.
I am very sorry for Alex Salmonds family and friends, and sad that he suddenly died, however I had an extremely low opinion of him working for RT as a mouthpiece for Vladimir Putin, same as the traitor George Galloway.

I must say that I don't find any evidence of that claim on here, I have yet to see you give any credence to posts that don't support the Marxist disaster that is the present Government.
What do you think of Nigel Farage's argument that giving free untrammeled access to thousands of unknown people from countries which are hostile to us is a security risk for example, can you see that side of the argument, or not.

I fully agree with this .The idea witch finder is some sort of bastion of impartiality who listens carefully to all sides , instead of the reality a labour party cultist who simply parrots the party line unrelentingly like see 2 and some others is fucking laughable......... I notice when he bleats about how its our choice which programme to watch or newspaper to buy , he neglects to mention that lack of choice the uk public have in funding the labour parties propaganda arm , the BBC. Like the French , the uk should now do away with the outdated concept of public funding through a telly tax of this rabid organisation and as John pilger famously commented its refined propaganda. if you ever go on twitter, have a look at this guy here work with regard to bbc scotland and his daily reports on the refined Labour Party propaganda serivce that is bbc scotland. x.com/msm_monitor

And that's because the majority of content comes from the same root sources. Hence the incredible homogeneity of views expressed. The simple fact is that genuine investigative journalism is all but dead. No conspiracy theory needed.

Media sources need to be sent packing, reading about the telephone hacking era (although I don't agree with it) politicians, celebs couldn't take a piss without the media reporting on it, and it wasn't one sided, Labour Tories Lib-dem celebs, the Royals no one was spared. These days the only ones who get scrutinised are right wing politics, the leftist are left alone, can you imagine if this was the first 100 days of a Tory government with what's gone on with Starmer/Labour, the press media would have slaughtered them and had a field day .... what the fuck has happened to journalistic objectivity.

The simple fact is that genuine investigative journalism is all but dead. No conspiracy theory needed. exactly. It was interesting that when Keir starmer came to Edinburgh on Friday , he refused to be interviewed by STV , and insisted it could only be his chums at bbc scotland. The interview that he gave bbc scotland reporter Lynsey bews was such a car crash interview , where he could not answer any of the questions put to him , that his chums at bbc scotland would not put one single part of the interview on reporting scotland. Blatant censorship and covering by the labour toadies at bbc as per usual. x.com/msm_monitor/status/1845062191491293301

And of course there is that. When the MSM decide collectively that reporting on the Prime Ministers private life is "Not in the public interest" (when they were quite happy to slaughter anyone else) then it's clear that the news reportage is far from balanced. But there again 2 Tiers threat/promise on Leveson Pt2 probably had considerable bearing.

Is there any point to me replying to a post which refers to the British Labour Party as "Marxist" ? Probably THE most hostile country to the UK at the present time would be Russia, perhaps you think that all the Russians residing in the UK should be expelled, including the Millionaires and Billionaires. There are thousands of dissidents in this country from such places as Iran and Afghanistan, people who have escaped tyrany, or possible torture. The UK has a track record of giving sanctury to such people, as have many of our allies such as the United States, France, Canada etc. There is risk in most things, but there are people in this country today who are grandchildren of people who came here to seek refuge, Jews from Nazi Germany, Poles, and people who came here because they were not welcome where they were, people like Lakshmishankar Patak who arrived here in the 1950s with five quid in his pocket and sold Pataks food business in 2007 for £200 Million.

Do not disparage the conspiracy theory. Conspiracies in the political world exist with open antagonism and hidden moves to destroy or change through the application of power in ways both within and outwith the legal and/or democratic process. The most obvious recent one is the destruction of the BNP as any form of political force. The political establishment were ranged against them and their growing support up to 2010, was a concern for some that selected legal moves were initiated, reports with specific outcomes were commissioned by supposedly impartial NGOs, a bill was passed to specifically outlaw them on their existing Constitution and the MSM were coopted to report immediately on all negatives aspects. Unions organised that all reporting and comments must be firmly rebutted by members if it cast the BNP in a sympathetic light. This was organised through official channels and through political and legal channels by those with power supposed to be wielded in an impartial manner. It fits all aspects of a detailed conspiracy to achieve an outcome. The evidence is clear the conspiracy existed and a legal political party was destroyed through those very things you say you detest the lies and misinformation and a free press is one that does not join in the grand conspiracy.
