Apparently Reeves is going to raise it disastrously but is having second thoughts, encouraged by the treasury. The vast majority of this tax is paid by just 12,000 people, if they move away or stop paying it, disaster will strike, income will plummet. No surprise there that the reds will squeeze till the pips squeak.
It seems to me that tax in all its forms is a sharp weapon in cutting the financial tendons of the country, then squandering such on bullsh it. That the reds in all their destructiveness have used this weapon over modern times with impunity, indeed, they frame it in the way that makes it out to be a good thing.
Lets look at capital gains tax, that is a tax that hammers you if you make money. Too much money in the governments eyes, so we are going to take it away. That low hanging fruit is not gathered by those who earnt it, but by the state., and it is by this process, wealth, growth, development, industry is hamstrung.
And in the vastness of a monthly governmental income.
WE ARE BANKRUPT.
Truly tax is the weapon to destroy freedom, ably used by all now, including the blues, that hard work, innovation, genius is siphoned off. Modern government has committed so many sins, it is uncountable.

It's amazing that these Labour dullards don't have family who are telling them to fuck off, most of the cabinet must have elderly relatives, they must have family who will be effected by their dumb policies, inheritance tax, capital gains tax, pension winter fuel payments, don't any of the dumbfucks have anyone in their families to tell them they are dumb policies, and if they are using loopholes for their families to get out of their own dumb policies they should be instantly fired and investigated.

The public and the electorate demand that most of our public services be restored to how they were, or at the very least put back into some semblance what they were before they were half destroyed by the Tories.
In particular, the public and the electorate want our NHS to return back to how it was in 2010, or close to how it was back then, but certainly better than it is now.
Someone, somewhere is going to pay
On top of Labours commitment to repairing public services is the budget deficit left by the last government.
EVERYONE knew that the future for whatever government was elected in 2024 would be extremely tough financialy, and that some very awkward and tough decisions would lie ahead, even the Tories accepted this.
Income is going to have to be raised to go into The Treasury OR expenditure going out of The Treasury reduced, but under a Labour government there will be no more damage done to public services, we have had enough of that.

Someone, somewhere is going to pay I dont trust many if any politicians past or present with spending my taxes wisely , but if taxes like death are part of life , then the last government I would trust at either Holyrood or Westminster or even at council level would be a labour administration. Time and again , decade after decade , they simply have shown they cant be trusted with money . |

It's only a 100 days ago that Labour assured us that all their spending plans were fully costed..
.. now they are looking at changing the fiscal rules to allow them to borrow more - totally out of their depth.

The key to success as stated many times by this government, is not by taxation, but by growth. The taxation part of the equasion is partly due to the huge deficit left by the previous government, whereby the income going into the Treasury does not match the spending going out. Therefore a combination of reductions in some spending + increases in revenue is necessary, and it would have been necessary no matter which party had won the election. I guess some people do not understand primary school sums. |

Instead of being fucking grown ups and increasing NI back to where it was, they are pursuing these ideological taxes that are all going to back fire, with the result being that "working people" will take a financial hit one way or other.
How exactly is destroying my companies salary sacrifice pension scheme not "increasing taxes for working people"?
A women who lies about being a chess champion as a child (to pretend she is super intelligent), and who fraudulently used her Westminster credit card for everyday personal spending is now in charge of our finances... god help us!
